New Years Eve Dinner for 4 - looking for a place

Try Trattoria Cinque in Tribeca, the chef was in the 2010 MIchelin Guide for the parent restaurant and there are some really great options on the menu. I'm excited about the Veal Cheek Stuffed Ravioli morel mushroom sauce as an option. There is also a reserve wine list that has some great values so you can enjoy soma amazing Italian wines with out breaking the bank.

Help me find "burger bliss" in New York!

Several suggestions:
-DBGB has excellent options
-Minetta If you go - go early, yes you can go alone and dine at the bar or a table
-Five Napkin is a good choice, not my personal favorite
-Lure does a In and Out Style burger you may enjoy to compare
-Corner Bistro just for the nostalgia

Perbacco/Peasant/Locanda Verde?

Peasant has the most romantic environment but the staff can make you feel rushed if it is a packed time.

Looking for good food and atmosphere for New Years Eve

Suggestion: Trattoria Cinque 4 course $100, I heard they will also offer their bar menu a la carte if you like the chef received mention in the 2010 Michelin Guide and at 11pm a DJ will start.

Tribeca Recommendations

What about the back room at Trattoria Cinque? The food is great and the chef was just recognized in the 2010 Michelin Guide for Alfredo of Rome. The back room is intimate, quiet and has a downtown feel.

Crema on 17th St. report

My boyfriend & I are regulars and have always had a good to great experience. Once in a while one dish isn't as fabulous as another and we are disappointed but nothing as described above.

Casual, there are plenty of choices in that area. Thalia on 8th & 50th, Havana Central on 46th Street between 6th & 7th and just about anything on restaurant row.
