Rocco's Pizza in Tucson--Stuffed Crust or Regular?
Not sure which is the one to order as I have not had the stuffed crust, but I've been very happy with the regular.
Recommendations in Tucson
I would second Pastiche. It's a great restaurant, quite casual and often overlooked. I think it's better than most places listed and you can't beat the value.
New Tucson Restaurants (Are there any?)
Not upscale at all, but recently Cocina Loca, recently opened on 6th street near the U of A. They have some interesting menu options including a burger that is made of ground pork shoulder. I had it and it was amazing.
In Tucson for a Week
All of the above are great there's no denying. In fact, you MUST get a hot dog at El Guero Canelo. You won't be disappointed. However, if you really want to go to a great cheap taqueria, try Birria Guadalajara on 22nd st and 4th ave s.
