Best Cookbook You Own?

What are your favorite cookbooks -- The ones you always go back to?

Mine is All About Braising by Molly Stevens. Every recipe blows my mind and takes the individual ingrediants to new levels -- especially the short ribs with a maple rosemary glaze! The whole book is well written, easy to follow, and people can never refuse seconds and thirds when I cook from it.

Curious to know what the rest of you think of as the cookbook you could never live without...

Moving from Los Angeles

I'm moving back to Boston from LA and, in addition to Boba Tea, which I posted about earlier, I'm curious about where/if I can find a lot of the food that I've become obsessed with out here in this ethnic food mecca. Are there any other LA transplant foodies on the board who can talk me through the transition? I am specifically curious about where to find really good (and hot) Thai food and Chinese food. For Chinese, I am really into Shanghai-style dumplings, specifically these "juicy pork dumplings" that I've been spoiled by at Din Tai Fung dumpling house in Arcadia outside of LA - these unbelievably thin-skinned (but strong) dumplings that are filled with pork and "juice" (a light but savory broth) then dipped in an amazing vinegar and ginger before you bite a tiny hole in the dumpling to suck out the "juice" ... Do these exist in Boston?

Boba Tea

Thank you all so much for your ideas! I now feel confident in my boba options in Boston ...

Boba Tea

I am coming back to Boston after two years in Los Angeles, where boba tea shops are on almost every block in much of the city - I've grown addicted. Has this wonderful drink found its way to Boston yet?
