The best seafood is at the Hyatt? Wow.
Business dinner in San Antonio
Grey Moss Inn is fantastic. More on the Northwest side, but a great place. I hosted a business dinner there last year.

Tex-Mex for a reluctant skeptic
Casa Torres in Decatur, TX is my absolute favorite. The real deal for Tex-Mex.
Tampa. Need recommendations for best Seafood.
I'll be in Tampa next week. I want to take the wife out for her birthday. Looking for the BEST seafood restaurant in Tampa. NO CHAINS PLEASE.
Suggestions for Canton Trade Days?
Dairy Palace in Canton is very good for burgers, onion rings, etc. They also have a killer patty melt. Open 24 hours. There is also a small mexican restaurant just off the square that I like. Classic Tex-Mex. Can't remember the name for sure,,,,,Ojeda's?? Small brown building.
There is also a food vendor at the Old Mill that cooks in a converted fire truck. He cooks really good chicken and steak sandwiches. Other than that, you can get your fill of typical fair and festival food.
Sabretts' hotdogs and onions in sauce
I believe either Hirsches meat market or maybe another retailer in the area sells Sabrett in frozen packages.
Also, coneys are well known in Detroit, Toledo, and other parts of the Midwest. Ergo, the term Coney Island is not unique to Texas. James Coney Island has been in business in Houston since the early 1900's.
San Antonio
Staying at the Westin La Cantera resort.
Have a car.
I want Tex Mex and Authentic. Have time to eat both.
San Antonio
Two things, absolute best:
A. Mexican food (place and location)
B. Seafood (place and location)
In town May 2 to 6
(SAT) Desperate for great Greek/Lebanese
The Greek Isles at Parker and 75 in Plano is an outstanding Greek restaurant. I have lived in Chicago and Detroit, and TGI is on par with what I am used to there......
Pho 2828 in Plano?
Its just O.K. Not nearly as good as Pho Mac at Coit and Independance. Tran and his family are very nice, and all their food is very good quality.
They also have great rice and noodle dishes aside from traditonal Pho.
San Antonio Riverwalk, Is there anything good that is not Tex-Mex or Mexican??
Paesanos for Italian/Mediterranean
Biga for eclectic cuisine
Little Rhein for nice steak, chops, and fish.
The Fig Tree, elegant classic American cuisine.
Boudros Texas Bistro
Roast Beef Po-Boy
My routine now is to get a half roast beef and a half shrimp. Best of both worlds!!
Tony Angello's
I am not sure. my wife and I ate and drank all we wanted, and our bill was a little over $100.
Jewish/Deli Food in Dallas?
I had a corned beef and chopped liver with slaw and russian dressing on rye at Deli News today, and it rocked! Also had a cup of matzo ball soup. It was very good as well. I travel to NY about once per month, and the food at Deli News is pretty authentic.
Dallas-Crawfish season yet?
The problem I have is that most restaurants in Dallas live under this delusion that real boiled crawfish have Tony Chachere sprinkled all over the outside of the boiled crawfish. HINT: REAL BOILED CRAWFISH HAVE THE SEASONING IN THE WATER
Sea Breeze in Plano is the only place in DFW I have eaten crawfish where they are spiced and boiled correctly.
Great Greek Food in Dallas?
The Greek Isles at Parker and 75 in Plano is very good. They have really good rack of lamb. I think best in the metroplex.
Stephan Pyles
I have eaten at Stephen Pyles many times. I do believe that the signature bone in Ribeye is among the best steaks I have ever eaten, and I have dined all over the world, in some of the best restaurants in the world. It ranks in my top 5 for a steak.
Sometimes the southwest thing can be a bit overdone, but Stephen Pyle's is a fine dining establishment. Period.
Best Breakfast in Dallas?
Try Chez Moi in Frisco. It is right off Preston, not far from Krispy Kreme. Great eggs benedict, crepes, etc. Brunch served all day.
Fantastic hole-in-the-walls in San Antonio and in Austin?
Chris Madrids for a really excellent Burger. The tostada burger is my all time favorite burger anywhere.
In Manhattan, where to dine?
Thanks for the recco's. In terms of Italian, I am looking for something a little more geared toward outstanding pasta dishes.
Any other suggestions in Manhattan?
In Manhattan, where to dine?
I want really good Italian. Really good. Cannelloni is my favorite dish, but am open to anything. I will look at Angelo's. What is best there?
Any word on Grotta Azzura?
In Manhattan, where to dine?
We are wide open for 3/27. We live in Dallas, so want to stick with cuisine specific to the Northeast.
Houston Wednesday Night 2/18
I wound up at Hugo's on Wed. night. It was very good. Enjoyed the meal completely.
I have eaten Vietnamese many times off Bellaire. Great place to dine for Asian seafood.
Had lunch at Pappas Seafood House on the way out of town. Just had oysters on the half shell (which were ice cold and very good), and some crab cakes. Not bad.
In Manhattan, where to dine?
Looking for best Italian in Little Italy on Wednesday, 3/26, and where to eat before 8 p.m. show on Broadway 3/27.
Just the wife and me. Suggestions?
