Town Hall or Nopa?

Which one would you pick for a nice dinner out with some good drinking involved?

We dont need posh, we just want it great!

Hey you all,
Me and 2 friends are flying in from Sweden to celebrate that one of us is turning 30 and I need your help! We would like to go out and eat; it doesn't need to be cosy, intimate or anything like that. We just want great food in a great place and if it's a little bit of experience/weird place that doesn't do any harm... not super expensive though please. We dont need posh, we just want it great! ;)

Hit me with your best picks inside the city! We are going on a sunday night.

Best for 60th birthday?

All you foodlovers out there, I need your help!

My family is coming into NYC from Sweden in mid april to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. We are a party at five and I was first aiming to hook us up at Babbo Restaurant for this special occasion. It was fullbooked though for parties this big (surprise..!). Hm, so now I need to find something else....

What we are looking for is something not to expensive (meaning less than 100 bucks/person everything included), where its not to fancy (some fancy is good, but as I said not too much). What we want is something delicious where we can sit for a while without feeling that we have to leave so the restaurant can ship in new guests. Foodwise: pretty much up for everything, but I guess italian or something with meat or fish is perfect as well. It doesnt matter if its cosy either ;)

Help is needed - what do you suggest???
