Best meal I ever ate:

Dungeness crab with ginger and scallion, many years ago at a Chinese restaurant on University Avenue in Palo Alto. It was so good I can't remember anything else about what I ate.

Have room to expand my small, no-counter no-cabinet kitchen.

Grilled cheese. White bread, American cheese (not cheese food or product) and maybe tomato. Bliss

How to Cook Everything (Bittman). The Best Recipe (Cooks Illustrated.) The Good Food of Szechuan (Delf). James Beard's American Cookery. Mastering the Art of French Cooking (especially volume 1).
