Taillevent for lunch
We will be in Paris in the spring, and am wondering about the appropiateness of havng two older (13 and 10) children with us for lunch at Taillevent. Spacca Napoli closed for two weeks
That is probably good. I hav enjoyed the pizza there in the past, but this past saturday night the pie was very doughy, and slightly cooled off. This style of pizza needs to be brought to the diner right out of the oven and not allowed to cool off. It was rather disappointing.

My family and I ate there about two years ago. A very friendly, but somewhat fancier appearing place. It was at that time a Buon Ricordo place, meaing if you ordered their special dish, which at that time was a soup of faro,vegies, and fish (quite good), tou received a plate commerating the visit and the dish. I would go back in a heatbeat.

Da Baffeto is a great place, but it is only open for dinner,never for lunch, in fact most roman pizzerias are closed for lunch. For roman pizza by the piece, try the Ghetto for a good pizza al taglia, as well as il fornaia(or somethiong like that) near Campo d Fiore.

Is this place still in existence? Haven't been to St louis in 15 yrs, but went to school (SLU) there and spent many a sweltering nights after a Cardinal game at this place having a snoot sandwich. I know it moved to a strip mall but does the place still exist? While I am at it, is Uncle Bill's still open on Kingshighway, they had a great sweet treat for breakfast- hot fudge pancakes (or something like that) nothing like that sugar rush to start your day.
