Tough one, but a few standouts: Babbo NYC, Tapas hoppping San Sabastien, Roadside BBQ outside Merida, sucking on crawfish in my buddy's backyard, 1st whole hog I made (also in my buddy's back yard) come to mind
My current drink of choice:
Pretty much any crisp dry white wine (NO Fu*king chardonnay), I'm partial to Pino Grigios these days.
I really wish I could:
Travel more to experience food culture
My favorite comfort food:
Day after spaghetti fried until slightly crispy in a teflon pan, homemade smoked meat. Leftover, day-old cheap chinese. Various pork products (feet, belly, cheeks, ears...)
My most tattered cookbooks:
My own. I started with a flimsy one which fell apart. I went with a properly bound booklet with blank pages, however its getting pretty ratty/stained/beat up.
