This is an old post but I see new e mails.. I think Moya is really terrific. Great tastes. If they are a bit new or have the alleged Pocono service troubles, go early! Then you can drive up to Mauch Chunck Lake or the Flagstaff to for views.

Eat at Moya and Macaluso's about 3 miles out of town towards Lehighton, which is very good. I think Moya is no longer a byob. I agree about the Blackbread, most places are warm and friendly enough but they came across from day one as high fallutin hot shots who basically ignored us the entire visit.

Tell me: go here to eat!

Second request after a good steak, give me a great unpretentious restaurant that has never failed you for good scene great food, two 40+ year olds going out Saturday night to chow and enjoy a great meal. No chains unless I am really missing something special!

And a long wait does not impress......unless it's got a good bar.....

NYC good steak casual place?

Hello. I am looking for a real good steak and fries place, not pretentious. Not dress up. Just a darn good steak in a casual atmosphere. A good scene would be great too. Or do I have to step it up to really get a great steak. If so, is it BLT's for something special?

Thanks.

Staten Island Pizza

Joe and pats is great too. Maybe a bit pricey. I ask for well done. They use the tight beefy smaller diameter pepperoni and the thin crust pizza is right on. Great sauce. So far so good every time and I care about my pizza. So tell me a better thin crust pizza and dont mention a chain please.

Kelley's Neptune City

There was a time, age 33, 34, 35....my meal was a mini rueben well done, so the cheese gets crispy like a good thin crust pizza, then the brown mustard and you quarter the darn thing and get that mustard mashed in, chow and spin the plate a quarter turn, and twice more until done(and the mini is no white castle) a order of the onion rings, very good, the fries with gravy, a half dozen baked stuffed clams (or clam shells but never mind, this aint about seafood) and two Guinness. I would eat all that (eat - Guinness is good food) and I would feel complete. Now I would instantly gain 20 pounds.

Burlington eats with well behaved cute 18 mos old boy

We are visiting this weekend, I plan to ski Sat and Sun. Looking for places within walking distance from the Marriott area that have great food and would accommodate a good 18 month old kid well enough. Not fine dining (this is chowhound after all!)

Looking for real good reasonably priced food and great micro brews.....

Thanks!
