Fresh Lasagna Noodles

Yeah, that's a bit better. I found out that Tutto Pasta sells fresh pasta. I'll be going tomorrow to see what they offer, if not I'll head to Mr. Pasta.
Thanks!

HELP looking for really great food AND water views

You could get Joe's takeaway and go to the beach. Miami lacks waterfront dining but there are a few options like Cafe Sambal for sushi, Rusty Pelican which was just remodeled but I have not been there yet, and Zuma.

Fresh Lasagna Noodles

Good Morning,
I'm in the Coral Gables area and was hoping to purchase lasagna noodles somewhere nearby. I'm hoping there's a place closer than Mimi's or Laurenzo's.
Please help! Thanks

Miami Donuts with no corporate ties.

I think Sunshine Donuts is about the only one.

Healthy Cakes- Miami

Publix sells sugarfree cakes.

Indian Palate, all palates

I have been dying to try this place but instead tried Bengal this past weekend. Will go next week during my break!!

one night in Miami best sushi

Yes, Su Shin Izakaya. I have tried both but prefer SSI. I don't think the quality is better at Matsuri but I have only been to Matsuri about 4 times. I feel SSI is more authentic and it truly does remind me of Japan. The pork curry is delicious as is the lobster roll, the ginger salad, spicy tuna, udon , and the toro roll. lol. I go there once a week. I may have tried their entire menu.

Authentic Mexican in Miami

Another vote for Mi Rinconcito Mexicano. My second runner up would probably be the Orale truck or Taqueria El Mexicano

Breakfast in Grove,Gables or South Miami

I love Coral Bagels in the Grove but like the above poster stated it is not aesthetically appealing.
Delicias de Espana has a good breakfast on 57 avenue and Bird Rd. They're scrambled eggs with serrano are great.

one night in Miami best sushi

If you are willing to go to Matsuri, you could try Izakaya a bit more east. To me they are the best in South Florida.

SOUTH BEACH DINING ON A MONDAY

I have not been to Asia de Cuba yet but the hotel is absolutely stunning. You should at least swing by if only for a drink at Sunset lounge. I believe that Creek28 has brunch. I have only been to dinner there but I had a great experience. You could check that one out....

Nervous about Miami options during Mem Weekend

If you want seafood in Miami try Garcia's. It's on the river and always fresh. As for Coral Gables we have great restaurants here but I wouldn't recommend Flemings. It's a chain and not one of the better steakhouses imo. I agree that Jaguar is a good bet or for more upscale Peruvian try Francesco's in the Gables.

SOUTH BEACH DINING ON A MONDAY

Prime 112 or Prime Italian. For brunch on South Beach try Nemo's.

Can anyone recommend a Cup Cake place in South Florida?

I tried cupcakes nouveau last week and was terribly disappointed. I'd try buttercream or www.sugargirlbakeshop.com.

Can I wear jeans and a nice top to Morimoto?

In Miami we wear jeans everywhere. Is it ok to wear jeans to nice restaurants in Japan? Please help!

Caribbean Themed Party

I did make the jerk sand. myself. I basically marinated overnite. Roasted in the oven and sliced it once baked. Then right before everyone got here I just took out of the oven and put in a serving dish. Keeping some in the oven to keep warm.

Casa Tua and Tuscan Steak...Opinions

Perhaps i'm in the minority but I know 2 other people that have gone on sep. occasions and not liked it either.

Caribbean Themed Party

I had a carib. party last year. You can purchase coconut shrimp or chicken from Fresh Market. I also served pineapple upside down cake. Rum cocktails, fresh fruit jucies, mini grilled jerk pork sandwiches, hot pepper jelly and cream cheese with cuban crackers, lobster salad or any seafood salad, ceviche, and plantain and yuca chips with cilantro sauce.

Which one of these would you choose for an ITALIAN dinner?

I agree it is decent. For the price there are better Italian restaurants but in the beach I'd say it's there or Sylvano's for inexpensive Italian. I like their Chicken Parm. Their pastas are ok.

Dining on a budget in Tokyo and Kyoto

We will be doing 2 expensive meals and the rest we'd like to keep on a tighter budget. We will probably be doing Morimoto in Tokyo and a kaiseki lunch or dinner in kyoto. What do you recommend. We know we will be attempting to havesushi in daiwa sushi. We'd like a few recommendations for a sushi dinner, noodle dinner, tempura, and taditional japanese cuisine. Also are the conveyer belt sushis good? I'm intrigued.

Kaiseki meal in Kyoto

This is my first time in Japan and in all truth spending over 150 per person is shocking. I don't think i want to spend anymore than $400 for this meal for 2 people. It will be my first and only kaiseki meal. Thank you for your help.

Kaiseki meal in Kyoto

The english version does not say how much it costs so I was going by an article in food and wine and another in travel in leisure both of which say it is about $150 per person for the meal.

Kaiseki meal in Kyoto

I have also come across Minoko. I will probably only do one Kaiseki meal. I want the whole authentic experience what do you think?

Kaiseki meal in Kyoto

We're heading to Japan next Friday. After looking for a Kaiseki meal in Kyoto I came across an article in Travel and Leisure that mentioned chef Yoshihiro Murata's fabulous kaiseki dinners at Kikunoi in Kyoto it says it is about $300 for 2 people. Has anyone tried this restaurant or have another suggestion? Thank you for your help.

Which one of these would you choose for an ITALIAN dinner?

For inexpensive italian on the beach I'd try Spris, Rosinella, or Sylvanos. None of those are blow you away restaurants. Spris does have great pizza though.

Best Dessert Miami

Thai donuts at Bangkok Bangkok with lots of condensed milk no peanuts.
Sundaes at Swensens
A fresh Krispy Kreme Donut
Real NY Cheesecake from Gusto Fino in the Gables
Epicure Cakes

Which one of these would you choose for an ITALIAN dinner?

None of those.

Casa Tua and Tuscan Steak...Opinions

Sardinia in my opinion is a lot of hype and no delivery. I had one of the worst pastas there.

Nice, affordable dinner in South Beach?

don't bother with guru.

Nice, affordable dinner in South Beach?

Le Bon, Spris, balans for brunch, el rancho grande
