Just one word uhockey: MOtorino

In my opinion Forcella at least ones up Motorino. I was not impressed by the Forcella in Williamsburg,t the night I went, but this time I really was. The crush was puffy and well burned. If I have one complain is that they put the ingredients at the very end ie the Parma ham, and the flavors are not absorbed by the dought or tomatoe sauce. Motorino blends better the flavors.
What Motorino does not have is and extended dessert menu, on e other hand some Forcella desserts are even better than the Pizzas

Agree this place has taken Pizza to the next level, it's hard to say but maybe the next step after Motorino...

Nice review as always mssdonut :) I've just find it odd to complain about price at a restaurant like Per Se, where you know already what's the price range. Exclusivity is being paid. That exclusivity is what makes post like this have a lot views.
No need to say that at that price everything including service should be perfect. In my opinion satisfaction is actually a rate and money spend is part of the equation. The bigger the bill is, the hardest is to achieve that satisfaction.

Momofuku Ssam is the best bet, last time I went for brunch over the weekend it was very crowded btw. I believe they have some specials for brunch with eggs ( at least long time ago )

I agree with you, I went to Le Grand Fooding, Exquisite corpse with Mauro Colagreco on Sunday and it was really memorable.
Even the lunch was super early in the morning (9AM) and we were full from the previous night, we ate it all.

I fully agree with you, 1 or 8 is probably one of the best restaurants in Williamsburg and best Japanese in NY area. Everything taste really authentic, service is attentive and dishes are very well put together.
