Anna Marias is closed. I would recommend potenza or possibly Luigi's.

here are some options with decent food....lauriol plaza, circa, bistro d'coin. For a little nicer place mourayo, firefly,and urbana.

I would recommend Rays also. Taste of Jeruselum is good also. Olazzo has 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Mondays...that would be my choice especially if money is an object.

Here are some restaurants that i have had good experiences catering from: Guardados, Olazzo, Rio Grande, and Raku.

I find Olazzo to be one of the most consistent restaurants that I have been to in the area. Never had a bad meal there. I have been to Taylor, Litteris, Marchones, and numerous other sandwich places around and the Olazzo sandwiches during lunch are better. I usually get the sausage and pepper or the italian cold cut. I dont understand how it never gets mentioned as one of the better sandwich places around? Probably people associate the place more for dinner and pastas.

Near chevy chase is Murasaki for sushi. Which I think is very good with a nice outdoor seating also. For pizza Vace for takeout in bethesda. Mias is good pizza for dine in bethesda. I also will recommend Olazzo which I have found to be consistently very good. Passage to India is also one of my go to restaurants.

I ordered one from Olazzo recently and it was really good.

Two newer restaurants that you may want to try are Aroma and Al'sospiro. Both about 50 seats and moderately priced.

I would say off the top of my head your options may include Nicaro and Jackies. They both do sunday brunch. I have only been to Nicaros....thought it was very good

Yes I believe its Duraku....they have places in Miami and Hawaii. As far as best in bethesda....I would have to go with Raku. But close by in Friendship Heights I would give Murasaki the edge over all the places I have tried in the bethesda/chevy chase area. The best in the entire area I have tried is Yuraku in germantown.
