Dinner for a group in the North End?
I agree Mama Maria is a good choice they have a nice upstairs and a nice menu to boot.
boston dinner with 10 teenagers
Sticks is good as well.. a little of fun food on skewers and I think they have a private room you can reserve. The Elephant Walk has great French Cambodian food and the one on Beacon st has a back room you can use for 10 people.
Orinoco in Brookline village
I went here a few times with my friend a few times now and LOVE IT. Great food, fab cocktails and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone looking for something warm and fun to do on a cold night. The dates wrapped in Bacon are great and I had an avocado cocktail that was really tasty.
The Beehive - not impressed and check your bill!
I went to The Beehive for brunch on Sunday and while the music was good but BOTH the food and the service were mediocre at best. We also found an error on our bill being overcharged a dinner/lunch menu price not the cheaper brunch price - and they weren't very nice about it. This is my second time at the Beehive and still I am not impressed. I would eat somewhere else and just go for the cocktails and the music.
group lunch near north end
There are about 10 of us, I did look at Sal de Terre but hoping for something a little less expensive, thanks for the suggestion though
group lunch near north end
Hey All,
I am organizing a group lunch for work folks for the holiday's, can't be to expensive but something fun. Last year we went to Harvard Gardens, the year before Rabia's in the N. End. Our office is in the N. End so something close to the area would be great...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help...
No. 9 Park recently?
Sal and No 9 are both good - I do think the Bolyston Sal De la Terre is better then the Atlantic Ave one... on that note if you want to try something other then No 9 I would recommend L'Espalier.
Farewell, Takeshima; Hello, Blue Ocean
I went there tonight with some friends and don't plan to return any time soon. First the sushi was not as good as when it was Takeshima, then the bulgulgi was really bad, so bad we had them take it away and they didn't charge us for it, it was burnt at the edges and the meat was old with a funny aftertaste. They also got a different order totally wrong (again, didn't charge us for it). We were really disappointed as we love Koren BBQ, maybe they will get better but seems like they just expanded into food they are not prepared to make.
