Great lunch spots along the Beeline Highway from Fountain Hills to Mesa..

How about Blue Adobe Grill on Country Club just North of Main ?? Their location should be very convenient for you and they are open all day on Sunday.

Where's the best Cheapinese?

China Chef @ Combs and Gantzel (Ironwood) in Queen Creek is awesome for Cheapinese. Most lunch specials are $5 and include fried rice and your choice of a drink, egg roll, or soup. The Hot and Sour is one of the best I have had.
Try the Mongolian Beef, it is "melt in your mouth" tender. yum :)

It has an added bonus for those of you that don't live in Queen Creek. It's a mile or two down the road from The Pork Shop, located in the Fry's shopping center.

Cowboy Ciao.....meal suggestions

Cowboy Ciao.....meal suggestions

My BF and I are planning on dining at Cowboy Ciao for my bday this Tuesday. This is our first visit. Although we certainly understand the concept of "quality vs quantity", he is a big eater and we need some suggestions on what to order.

We are excited to try both the Stetson Chopped Salad and their signature dish, the Mushroom Pan Fry. I am considering the Stuffed Pork Chop as my entree.

So, my question is.......should we order a smaller portion Mushroom Pan Fry as an appetizer and split the chopped salad (followed by our entree) ???? or would we better off to split the shrooms and each have our own salad??

Any other suggestions would be appreciated :) Oh, BTW.....how is the pork belly??

Thanks in advance!

Best Phoenix Tamales @ Ostrich Festival

The Tamale Store's website confirms that they were the vendor at the Ostrich Festival.

1st Vegas Trip: need some advice

WOW! It does sound like you had a terrible time.

I do have to question though that after SO many people have had such wonderful experiences at most all of the places you tried, how is it that your experience was on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.?

Quality PHX Breakfast recs (besides Matts)?

I am guessing it's just a typo but I thought I would mention it just in case. You typed "Acadia". It is Arcadia Farms, not to be confused with Acacia Cafe.

New threads

Most of the time the post does have a rude tone to it. I am not the one that posts these threads, just an observation on my part of others.

I wouldn't dare, I read alot on these boards but I often feel it's not a very friendly place. so I don't post much.

As usual, JMHO

[PHX] weekend eating near Civic Plaza / Wesley Bolin?

just curious, where did you end up??

Quality PHX Breakfast recs (besides Matts)?

You HAVE to try Arcadia Farms in Scottsdale. You will not find fresher, higher quality ingredients anywhere! This place doesn't get near enough "press" on this board, IMO.

New threads

Why do people get so annoyed when someone starts a thread about something that may have been discussed in a previous thread.

They will go as far as responding but usually with something like "Search these boards, this has been discussed before, etc, etc". Or not reply at all.
Seriously, if you are taking the time to reply, why not just answer the question and help the poor guy (or girl:) out??

I have done searches many times but often times the info. is so old that I want a more recent perspective.

Sad, what could serve as such a great benefit to many just isn't always the friendliest place.
