Trader Joe's has a line of Indian food - and it's cheaper than Jewel's!

Don't know if it's available at lunch time - but I love the Frontera version of eggs benedict.
It's mesa, black beans, egg, and a wonderful sauce with chorizo and some type of chile. Fabulous!
(I usually go on Saturday - this is on the brunch/lunch menu.)

I've yet to have anything good at Steve's.
I love good rye bread - so I'll give it another chance.

If expense isn't an issue, skip the cafe and eat in the main restaurant - Spiaggia!
Try Topolobampo (or Frontera Grill) - award winning Mexican. They share a kitchen.

Where should we have Christmas dinner while visiting Charleston?
Two years ago we were in Savannah and celebrated at The Olde Pink House. We're looking for something similar.
The descriptions of Poogan's Porch and Magnolia sound good. But I'd love to get the opinions of those who've been there.

Had dinner there on October 1. Loved it! Waitstaff is wonderful. Everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed their food.

From a New Yorker who's lived in Chicago for 17 years - skip the deep dish pizza - never found a New Yorker who liked it.
I love brunch at Frontera Grill on Saturday morning. Try their version of eggs benedict - mesa, black beans, spicy sausage cream.
A new restaurant, Perennial, is very good.
Old Town Brasserie is lovely - and there is entertainment.

Elizabeth on 37th is closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Any other suggestions?
