i don't know how fancy you want to get but there is a family style restaurant called Valley Fields on Lawrence not too far East of Donmills.
ISO: A bakery that personalizes cakes
I always go to Dominion for birthday cakes, they put my children's photo right on the cake. Most locations are equiped with this feature. It's not dufflet's quality but then you are not paying as much either.
