Has anyone tried Ten Sushi, new to Park Slope I was not impressed by the sushi at this restaurant. It's not horrible but it's nothing to write home about. |

Any half-way decent Indian restaurants in Park Slope/Prospect Heights? Yep, Kinara is the best but it's not really that great. Adequate pretty much describes it. |

Encuentro is a spanish/Tex-mex/Dominican Republic located in an odd location in Brooklyn 6th Ave & 15th St - Their combo meals are very good and the prices are excellent. I think that they know what Queso is. |

Speaking of Londoners in New York! Brick Lane used to be an awesome restaurant. Authentic British/English food. Then they got sold or moved up the street or something and they sucked. Have they improved? |

Mexican in NYC? Any grocery store recs? Sunset Park has quite a few grocery stores. Don Paco Lopez at 4th Ave. and 47th St was recommended to me. I did some exploring and found a few: Guerrero Food Center, 23rd and 5th. Pueblo Min-Market on 39th St & 5th. My trip up 5th Avenue ended there. |

New restaurant at site of Laila That's what we really need, another Japanese restaurant in this neighborhood. Rumor is that the cost of rent got too high, but rumor also that the former owner (Elias) of the restaurant owns the building.. |

Ugh. I've had that happen but not for a very long time. Disgusting. |

That's perfect. Thank you! |

You've already come and gone, but Jasmart on St Marks place and a smaller one on East 23rd is good for Japanese groceries, plus some Korean groceries. There is a great Korean grocery store on 32nd and lots and lots of grocery stores in Chinatown, including a couple of Thai grocery stores. I can't remember exactly where they are, my feet just manage to take me there - same thing for the Indian Spice/Grocery store on I think 2nd Avenue between 7th and St. Marks? |

I must have gone into 10 different "Korean" grocery stores in the South Slope and Park Slope today hoping to find some Kim Chee so I could try out a new Kim Chee Chigae recipe. Are there any good Asian grocery stores in the area where I can buy the real thing? |

Park Slope CSA (Windflower Farm) vs. Greenwood Heights CSA (Hearty Roots Farm)? I just sent in my check for a half share with Greenwood Heights, just because it's closer. I think the Park Slope CSA is cheaper. It doesn't look as though you can buy extras like eggs like the one my Mother belongs to on the LES. That farmer picks up things from other farms in the area if you ask for them. |

Grimaldi's, Brooklyn--Excellent, But... How about Original Pizza in Mills Basin around the corner from Landis? |
