My family and I loved Isabelle et Vincent! We tried many items, including the Pain au Chocolat, homemade sorbets and ice creams and a wonderful specialty cake. I recommend you give them a try.

Where to get Best Salad in Fairfield County
Two of the best salads I had last summer were at The Dressing Room in Westport: the Bean Salad and the salad with Meyer Lemon dressing. Both were incredibly fresh and the dressings were superb. Maybe they'll be back on the menu this summer!
Moving to Ridgefield, CT
My friends and I celebrated a special occasion at Bernard's two weeks ago and it was superb! Great food, good service, beautiful environment (we sat in a relatively private area in front of the fireplace). None of us is a wine expert, but the list was extensive and those who chose wine were pleased. Be prepared to spend some decent money here, but we thought it was worth every penny. It was a lovely, memorable evening.

Tengda vs. Kazu, Norwalk CT
I have eaten at Tengda several times and have yet to have a bad meal. In fact, the meals have been excellent. We've eaten sushi as well as other dishes that were prepared beautifully and very fresh. Give it a try!

oops...didn't read closely to see you didn't want to drive (Sfoglia)! We were at Oran Mor before the ownership change, so I can't speak to it now. Cauldron is nice.

You could try Sfoglia. I've gone twice and had a wonderful meal each time. It's also a nice atmosphere. Happy anniversary!

I was there last year with a friend for lunch. Very nice atmosphere, food was OK, but the service wasn't great. I guess we would go back for another meal, but we haven't rushed to get back.

Pane Vino in Westport is lovely and has many exellent food choices.
The Maine Diner, is it all that?
My husband and I thought it was "all that" when we were there over the summer. Had wonderful lobster salad and blueberry pie. Both were excellent. The service was friendly and prompt; the atmosphere busy and fun. Go at an off time and you won't have to wait long or at all. I say go and have a good time!
Gourmet grocery/good fish market in Fairfield, CT?
I prefer the service at Swanson's to that at Pagano's; Swanson's seems to genuinely appreciate the patronage. I don't know if this matters to you, but it does to me.

You could give Sfoglia a try. Hopefully, they are still there!
sunday brunch in Ogunquit/Wells
Though it's not a buffet, there is great food, at all times of the day, at the Maine Diner...I think it's in Wells, if I remember correctly. Wonderful food and service.
Pepe's Pizza in Fairfield ,CT.......can I say flavorless!!!!!!!!
I am a Pepe's fan and,though it's not perfect in Fairfield, the few times we've had their pizza it has been wonderful. On a recommendation from a friend we tried the shrimp pizza, instead of the garlic, with some cheese, and it was really good. We'll keep going...
First-timer to Ogunquit

The first night we went to Barnacle Billy's Etc. and that lovely, plentiful rum punch got me well into the vacation spirit! Had good food there, as well as at the Maine Diner (EVERYTHING was excellent), Impastable Dream (good and plentiful), Mike's Clam Shack (very busy, good food).
As for breakfast...tried all of 'em! Amores's French toast and omelettes were fresh and great, but the coffee was not very good; I think they make it and keep it in carafes and that probably makes the difference. The Omelette factory was really good, fresh, a bit cramped, excellent coffee. The Egg and I had excellent coffee, food was good, not great.
Oh yes, ate at Roberto's, too...slow service...very nice meal.
It's a good thing we walked and walked or we might have burst from all the goodies. Found a great little store in Kennebunkport that sells jams, jellies, mustards, sauces of every kind and has an entire wall of hot sauces! Fun and yummy...it is called the Flaming Gourmet (www.flaminggourmet.com).

If you want great blueberry pie, I recommend the Maine Diner in Wells. My husband got it, warmed and added a bit of vanilla ice cream (from my plate!). YUM! Happy eating!
