Where is the best Mexican in Toronto?

Please please please forget about Hernando's on Yonge at Wellesley!!! Recently re-named Habernero's, everything microwaved & absolutely the worst meal I have ever eaten! Go a block south to Cocina Lucero for amazing Mexican food! Top quality. The cactus tacos are to die for! Also if ever in Hamilton go to Mex I Can. I lived in the southwest and that is the closest to a real Mexican restaurant you'll find in Ontario complete with groceries. (Every real Mexican restaurant in the southwest sells groceries for some odd reason)

California Style Pizza

Does anyone know of a place in Toronto that serves California style pizza like you get at California Pizza Kitchen or Wolfgang Puck's? I am SO sick of Italian style pizza! The same toppings over and over again all drowning in tomato sauce. It seems I have to make it myself.

Prairie Style Pizza in Toronto?? Please??

OMG! I so know what you mean! Ontario pizza places are so skimpy on the toppings! But at least the sauce isn't sweet like at Vern's out west. Seriously!? Sweet tomato sauce? The closest I've come is Papa John's which I also remember from out west although we mostly got it from Family Pizza in Warman.

Authentic Danish Kringle Recipe

Ojakangas is a great cook but her Danish recipes are off. Proof is that her kringle does not involve layering the butter. Plus no recipe for klejner! What Dane ever heard of Christmas without klejner!?

Authentic Danish Kringle Recipe

Yes! That's real kringle! My father's grandparents were from Denmark and they taught him how to make it. I haven't made it my self since we've been able to buy kringle made by a Dane & it is a lot of work. What they make in Racine is a travesty. Some even use margarine! Kringle is never oval, it's a pretzel!

Lindt Chili Chocolate

Shoppers drug store here in Canada now carries the Lindt cherry chili chocolate bar but I was very disappointed. It was not hot at all in my opinon. I would love to try the Maya bar if they carry it in the future. I've never of the Vosges brand. Maybe we don't have it here in Canada. We do need a chocolate chili bar that is easily available though.
