Saw a rerun of "Wheat Belly on Dr. Oz. Has anyone tried it? What were the results? |

Thanks, I will give it a try. |

Cannot find anything definitive on how to gas grill a marinated bone-in goat leg. Any advice? Thanks. |

Thanks to everyone. I guess I will go a different way. |

I would like to purchase a 1963 Chardonnay or a similar type white wine for a friend's 50th birthday. Any suggestions of a website here in the US? |

Thanks, going to try the carine-olivia one this morning. |

No, I never did. |

I need to make an easy coffee cake with ingrediants on hand (flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, eggs, butter, sweetened evaporated mikj). Any thought? |

Years ago my mother used to make a quick chocolate cherry cake. She used a box mix and a can of cherry pie filling and maybe eggs. That is all. I lost the recipe and cannot find this very simple version anywhere. Anyone have it? Thanks. |

Thanks. |

Any thoughts on Seablue by Michael Mina, Joe's Stone Crab, or Nobhill Tavern for a seafood diiner? |

I never thought to freeze it. Does it hold up well to freezing? |

I have almost a quart of buttermilk leftover from a cake recipe. I could make buttermilk mashed potatoes, pancakes, or fried chicken but I looking for some kind of soup with buttermilk as a base so I can use it all. Any suggestions? |

I agree. We went to Per Se several years ago and cannot stop taking about it. The best meal of our lives. We are now saving to go to French Laundry. This isn't a weekly or even annual thing, we love the experience and would rather spend our money on a blowout dinner every few years instead of annual vacations. ----- |

Asking your guests to bring their own plates and silverware for large/r dinner parties... Sorry to say but yes, it is tacky. And, I have to disagree with you about Goodwill (or any other thriftstore). I have a closet full of Corelle (enough for a dinner party of 30) that I have collected over two years and it is perfect for large parties. I have several different patterns but the pattern if against a white plate so they all work well together. I found a complete service for 4 (16 pieces) for $10 among my many finds.. I have also supplemented my everyday silverware from thriftstores over the years (the same pattern) that was discontinued by the manufacturer. Give it a try, you will be surprised at the good bargains to be found as far as dishware and silverware are concerned. |

Thanks, cannot wait to try it. |

Thanks everyone. I think I will skip the liner except for my pots/pans drawer. |

Can you point me to the Anne Burrell's recipe for noodles-would love to make them. Tx. |

No, but I wish the cabinet maker did. When I was a kid my mother used contact paper, but there are products out there now that are much easier to use. I like your choice of cotton towels. |

My kitchen remodel is almost finished and I have a ton more cabinets. But, do I want to go through the trouble and expense of adding liner...do you use liner or not? |

Looking for a new range (split from General Chowhounding Topics board) Off subject, but I am looking for a new range. What model is your GE? |

How to clean pyrex baking dishes? I recently used oven cleaner on my really old 20 years+ pyrex and they now look like new with no ill effects. |

Top Chef All-Stars - Ep. #13 (Finale Pt. 1) - 03/09/11 (Spoilers) Really, a grease fire in the kitchen that requires a fire department! I am starting to believe that this is nothing but a staged show. |

How to make the perfect "6-Minute Egg" in 10 minutes Won't the egg break/crack as soon as you place it in the water? |

The roast beef for sandwiches that I have been buying at the supermarkets is utterly inedible and expensive. I would love to make my own but am unsure of what cut of beef and how to cook it so that is remains rare to medium rare (slow cooking?) and tender. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

I made split pea soup last week. I did not soak the peas overnight or put the soup in the blender. I cooked my soup over very low heat for about 3 hours, sometimes adding additional stock if the soup was getting too thick before it was done. |
