I would have to recommend Colbeh--39th btw 5th and 6th.
As an appetizer, I would ask for mix of appetizers (which would be Hummus, babaganoush and a couple of others)
Tahdig-- (crunchy rice) w/ Ghormeh Sabzi (stew)
The Kebab Barg and Koobideh are delicous.

It seems that they have changed the menu since the last time I had been there... I dont remember what I had exactly and was hoping that by looking at the menu I could tell you. Sorry!

I would recommend Yama on Irving---(not really in Murray Hill but close)
sushi is yummy---but the atmosphere not so nice.

I definitely think that Sarabeths can accommodate you. Great omelets and their lemon pancakes are delicious!

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I have been there twice hoping that the second time would be better... but no.
I would recommend casa mono right down the block!

Has anyone been to Tamarind lately? I am doing a late fathers day and want to know if I should take my family there. We are vegetarians so I feel like Indian food is always a good choice.

Has anyone been to Brasserie 8 1/2 for Sunday Brunch? Is it any good for a vegetarian? Is it a buffet?
Would you recommend any other excellent buffet brunch that is good for vegetarians (that dont eat shellfish either!)---price does not matter.
Two People, What To Order At Babbo?
I feel like I leave the same message for every Babbo posting. When I go with my boyfriend , we do two appetizers, one pasta and 2 mains and of course dessert. However, I love the pasta so much that last time we got 2 pastas! We love the pumpkin lune--so delicious, it melts in your mouth and also the Garganelli with “Funghi Trifolati” (if you like mushrooms.) Both DELICOUS!!

I'm not exactly sure what type/size place you are looking for. I like to go to 71--which is on 71 irving place in gramercy. It is small and can get very busy but I love their coffee. They have a variety of food/desserts you can order--- cupcakes, slices of cakes, muffins, bagels, sandwiches, granola, yogurt and quiches. I like the nice neighborhood feel.
Good Sushi near Union Square
I think Haru is decent sushi--you could do much better and it is overpriced. I love Yama--on Irving. Amazing sushi---small place though.
Excellent Brunch Place
Any recommendations on an excellent brunch place? I like Sarabeths and Tartine and loveeee Pastis. I had the eggs norwegian at Pastis and I though it was amazing. Any other places just as good? Thanks for your help! And I would recommend those 3 brunch places to everyone!

Which one of these two do you like better? Any one of them in particular more vegetarian friendly? I enjoyed eleven madison--and that whole dining experience and I heard these two are just as great. Any suggestions of a better place?

Babbo- 1st or 2nd floor/ Menu Items?
The pumpkin lune and garganelli funghi are amazing. I dream of pumpkin lune at night---so delicate and delicious. The garganelli is so flavorful--if you like mushrooms definitely get it!!
