Every year I buy the Shatzer whole wheat matzoh. I really enjoy it.
Kosher Hibachi?
I went last night. The chef put on a nice show and the food was excellent. I had the hanger steak and my husband had fillet mignon and chicken. We both agreed that the hanger steak was better. Each dish was about $40 and came with small salad, fried rice and grilled vegetables. A bit pricey but overall it was an enjoyable culinary experience.
Parve pastachio pudding mix?
I was just at Shoprite and I saw 2 brands. One was by Jello under the O-K. The other was by Royal and was under the O-U. They were not sugar free.
Kosher Indian?
I heard that there is a kosher Indian restaurant in NYC with a great lunch buffet for about $7. Does it really exist? Anyone know the name/location of the restaurant? Also, who is the kosher supervision?

Glatt Ala Carte, Brooklyn
Went here last night with 3 others. The side dishes were tasty and the dessert was excellent, but I was not impressed with the quality of the meat. 2 of us had a rib steak, 1 had the sino steak, and 1 had chicken. The meat was tough and chewy.
Phenomenal Kosher Pizza? Does it Exist?
Pizza Time IS the best in Brooklyn. I find their regular slice is not as good as it used to be. Try the Sicilian.
I also like Pizza Professor in Queens, but I haven't been there in a few years.
KOSHER SUBWAY
Ordered a turkey sandwich and a Subway club. They put on so little deli it looked like a topping. I had 2 sandwiches with the works and still left hungry...no wonder Jared lost so much weight.
Kosher Thanksgiving in Brooklyn?
Last year, I had Thanksgiving dinner at Crown's in Borough Park. It's on 13th Ave and I think 49th Street. I beleive it's owned by Rubashkin. Dinner was pretty good. I had a turkey breast platter with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. It was really pretty good and the price was not bad at all. I may even go again this year.
Best kosher Italian in NYC?
My favorite is Bertolini's in Brooklyn on Coney Island Ave. It is a milchig Italian restaurant.
