New AYCE Sushi in Pickering, anybody been?
I haven't yet, but I work very close, and I was planning on going there for lunch next week. I will let you know what I think...
Has anyone been to Sloppy Joe's Bar & Grill?
Bring it!! I have not eaten anything too hot yet!
Anyone know where I can get Fresh Cadbury bars from the UK?
Perfect!! Thanks!! I am craving some good cadbury's!! The Canadian Cad is just not up to scratch, although they have improved lately, still not there. And the South African version is a very very close second.
Anyone know where I can get Fresh Cadbury bars from the UK?
There used to be a cadbury store at Cookstown outlet, but that is gone. And there are a bunch of UK stores that sell them, but they are all old. I need a few 400g Whole Nut bars and Dairy Milk bars!!! Anywhere in the GTA or surrounding area would be nice.

Oh, I am all over that!!! When is the next event!!! Bring it on!!
I am previous (original) Armageddon record holder. It was a friend and I that told the twins to put up a board ranking the top eaters. We held it for a while until some super crazy fireman was able to push back like 90+ of those big wings! The heat was not the problem, it was the volume!
Toronto's top 50 restaurants
is this list limited to a particular food type? Don't see too many ethnic restaurants? No Mexican (still look for a good one), Indian (tonnes out there, and some very nice ones), Thai, Persian....etc? I guess I should name a few of them....let me review my list, and see if there is any I can recommend. What are the parameters. I saw Centro and south. What else?

Well, I went there on Friday. Not very busy, but not bad. I decided to side step the wings and went with the chicken fingers with suicide sauce. Nice heat but not extreme by any standard. Staff were good and quick. If you are taller than 6 feet, don't forget to duck if you need to use the washroom. And my biggest disspointment, they don't sell any desserts, not even ice cream! Overall, passable, but not exciting. Oh, and there wings were HUGH!! I think it was like 10 wings make up 1.5 pounds!
Ok, so what are the options for Mother's day?
Brunch might be a bit tough, so I am thinking maybe an early dinner. She likes spicy food, and doesn't really go out to each that much. It would probably be either Italian or Indian. (She does not eat red meat)

The pub down on the Lakeshore, in Etobicoke? The claim to have good wings? Any opinions? I am a big fan of Duff, and once had the Armaggedon (sp?) record there, so I love the wings extra triple suicide! Any Sloppy Joe's patron here?

Where is everyone going? What are the good places to take Mom. Looking for good food, and good atmos. Probably Mid town area.
Do most people reserve, or just wing it?
south african grocery/food
I actually think he might have it. Give him a call to confirm. If he doesn't, he can get it. He special orders stuff from SA constantly.
I don't think the Baxter people and Memeries people are the same one?
south african grocery/food
Memories is right next to one of the car dealerships, not VW, but I think it might be an american car dealer?
And Sedo is at Bayview, just North of John, South of hwy 7.

I highly recommend Sedo Snax. Neil is your man...if there is anything you need from SA, he can get it! Not sure about the Memories of Africa people. Not that it is a requirement, but they aren't from SA? I think it is franchise or something? Baxters was garbage anyway, always had old stock!
