Staying 1 night in Plantation need some help
For Cuban, there's Padrino's in the Fountains Shopping Plaza or Las Vegas on Broward Blvd. just East of University. IMO, Padrino's has better service but Las Vegas is more authentic, both are very good. Azteca is a Mexican place just south of your hotel in the shopping center on the SW side of I-595 & Pine Island. Vigneto's is a great Italian place, though a little hard to find on University Dr. just north of I-595 on the West side in the plaza by the McDonald's. The only Peruvian place I know of that's nearby is Gran Chimu 5941 S. University Dr. in Davie.

Best Burger in the Davie/Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale Area
I went to the one in Sunrise recently, but didn't get a burger. I had a fantastic Palomilla Steak sandwich instead. Will have to make a return trip for a burger.

Bamboo Noah's, in a small shopping plaza at 1251 S. Pine Island Rd., just north of Interstate 595. More of a lunch place, though they close at 7 pm. I highly recommend the skirt steak and the Jasmine Rice.
