Really? You can't tell if a restaurant is worth going to if you haven't been there? |

Nice restaurant for Christmas Eve Dinner in Manchester Township? Check out Three B's in Lakehurst. Nothing fancy but but very good tavern syle food in a nice setting. As a side note they also have an excellent Italian market in the same plaza. |

I am sorry you will have to do the leg work yourself, but I think Char is within 30 miles of you. Worth looking into if you have the time. |

Great Pizza! [Porta in Asbury Park] There probally won't be a punk band but most likey a DJ. After ten o'clock or so the picnic tables inside are moved out of the way and the once dining area turns into a pretty massive dance floor. The bar will also most likely be very crowded making it not the ideal place to sit and chat. It can be alot of fun if this is the night out you are looking for. As far as being a "relaxed atmosphere" and a good place to "sit and chill after dinner" you may want to look elsewhere. |

Great Pizza! [Porta in Asbury Park] You are absolutely right, you should enjoy wine the way you like to. On that same note the restaurant can serve it anyway they like. Just because you enjoy it one way doesn't mean the rest of the world enjoys it that way (Pun intended). |

Great Pizza! [Porta in Asbury Park] You made into the warehouse past the bocce ball courts through the picnic tables and were surprised when they didn't have stem glasses. |

In Priceton give elements a try. They have a house-made charcuterie plate consisting of some unique and classic selections. There are usualy around 8-10 different varieties and they are always changing. |

Another vote for tony's. Simple but good red sauce italian kind of place. In my opinion best pizza in AC as well. |

"I recognize that restaurants are in business to make money. It's depressing to me, but I begrudgingly accept it. " |

Best Sushi in Monmouth?- Let's hear your opinion +1 for Kazu. Small quaint place with great rice and nice selection of hard to find fish. This past week we had madai. |

The server or captain could not have have been attentive. As the server your are the last set of eyes to see what is being served. Your are the last line of defense to make sure the product is up to industry standards. Then when you clear that particular course and see that only one bite was taken you should ask yourself why. Further inspection would reveal the bad eggs. Attention to detail is a huge part of the hospitatality business and at the level of Nicholas it should be a priority. |

NJ Chowhound needs help for tonight. I am in town for a family gathering and have no plans for this evening. We are staying close to intersection of 35 and 71. I would appreciate if anyone could offer any suggestions for tonight in the down town area or close to our location, we will be taking a taxi. Also because it's a sunday I was kind of hoping for a place that will still have a crowd later in the evening. We probally won't get their until 8:30 or 9:00. Had Parkside in mind but not sure if open on sundays. |

Ruby's Taco Truck Ocean County This taco truck was located on rt.9 south in Forked River in a parking lot next to the Forked River Freezer. Does anyone have any info as to where they are located now or if still in business at all. I really hope they're somewhere in the area... Thanks in advance |

need a special restaurant--money is no object Second to elements in Princeton. If money is no object definetly sit at the chef's table in the kitchen. If you check out the sous chef's blog on their website you will get an idea of some the cutting edge things they're doing with food. Really very impressive and the head chef always brings in special items to be served at the chef's tasting. Santa Barbara Spot prawns, shima aji, kindai, real wagyu from kobe and mangalitsa pig are a few examples of courses that have served. Good luck and have fun wherever you go, it sounds like you're in for a great night. |

I've been there a half dozen times and have always loved it. I think it's one of those places where you have to know what to order. |
