Mid-Priced, Veg-Friendly Meals over Columbus Weekend
Hey Chowhounds,
Can you help me with recommendations for great meals in the $10-20/ entree range in Queens Village, South Philly, Northern Liberties, and Fishtown? I'll be in town the Sunday and Monday of Columbus Weekend, so don't know if BYOB places are an option (aren't liquor stores closed?)
No pizza, pub grub, falafel or sandwich shops, please.

I just said "yes" to dinner at the Old Ebbitt Grill without checking Chowhound first and now I'm regretting it.
Any recommendations for places in the neighborhood that are less noisy and less bland without breaking the bank?
