Western NC: Brevard - Dillsboro - Asheville - Cashiers (& Greenville, SC)

Hi --

We will be in western NC next week for a full week. Wondering if there are any tips on restaurants in the area (Asheville, Dillsboro, Cashiers), even down to Greenville, SC. Looking mainly looking for BBQ, meat-and-three, local type restaurants. Thanks so much.

From the Mills River rest head west to the trafic light and make a left toward H'ville---on the right in front of a hardware store there is a guy with a cart that does a great bar-b-q business every afternoon. Always busy, never tried it but it must be good. Since I love to cook I ate in more than out so that is about the extent of my roadfood knowledge of the area.
