Omega Steakhouse. Haven't been in years, old school all the way. Corner of Kerr and Speers Rd.

Anyone have any information on this soon to be opened restaurant. Saw the notices on the window. Hopeful that it will be as good as Silver Spoon.

Grace Meat Market, corner of College and Grace. They break down their own animals and always seem to have a lot on hand. Call ahead to make sure. I bought five pounds a couple of weeks ago for a stock.

Delux on Ossington is very safe. Steak frites and roast chicken.

I have to agree Starfish has a great Steak Frites. Was very surprised.

You can also ask for half orders of the main dishes.

I have to agree with sochow. Very skeptical at first because of the cook at home method, but they make a very good pie. Great crust.

Any recommendations where I can buy a good Jerk marinade for home cooking. I'm not looking for explosive heat, just good all around flavour.

Fat Cat Wine Bar on Roncesvalles Ave., very nice.

Have been to most Polish restaurants on Roncesvalles and Cafe Polonez is by far the best. Great food and great service.

Barb's rotis are a good size. I'd say about average. I have never had a Jerk chicken roti from Barb's, I always have the traditional. I believe she is open until 8.

Starfish is very good. The owner is the Oyster shucking world champion. It's on Adelaide near Jarvis.
