I heard they kept the same recipes; just got rid of the fried shrimp, etc.

Fran's Chicken Haven, a Boca Raton landmark for 45+ years, recently became kosher under the ORB!
I highly reccomend! How rare is it for a long established meat-oriented place to go kosher!

Trader Joe's baked goods no longer kosher
I was in Trader Joe's today and any of the baked goods that have had the KVH in the past no longer did!

When I called them and asked if they were kosher, the person on the phone said that they "didn't know"

I called them.
They said they are kosher under the IKC, Rabbi Shwartz.
They said that all of their meat is glatt Beit Yosef, but they are open on Shabbat without mashciagh temidi. Not sure how that works, but that is the info.
Kosher Deli at Baltimore Wegman's?
The deli at Wegman's is not kosher, it is kosher style. Sometimes, in the area near the "kosher deli" they have some packaged things that are actually kosher, usually smoked fish products or knishes, etc, but not that much better selection than any supermarket. If you go, be careful as they often display traditional "Jewish food" such as rugelach, honey cake etc, from their in-house non-kosher bakery near the the kosher food displays. If you are staying at the Marriot in Hunt Valley they can provide kosher frozen meals with enough advanced notice.

Thai Treat in NMB is awesome!
Authentic Thai and Indian and very reasonable lunch specials.
And they have Thai and Indian beer.
Not to be missed.
Also Serendipity Frozen Yogurt in Surfside is said by some to have the best frozen yogurt in the country.

It is awesome.
W&L is one of the few places in the world where you can get kosher aufschnitt.
Kosher in Delray Beach, FL
I would highly reccomend European Corner Cafe. One of the best dairy places in the country.
They have an amazing Sunday brunch that includes a large variety of breakfast and lunch items all you can eat and a mimosa! Eilat is closed but European Corner is 10 times better than Eilat ever was.
For fleishig your best bet is Grill Time which has great lunch specials if you go before 4:30. A little pricey for dinner.
A very baby friendly place would be both Jons Pizza and Boca Pita Express which is fast food.
I'm pretty sure that there are no kosher places in Delray.
Coffee Bean Miami - Kosher?
I called them.
There is currently no supervision on the location but they are looking into it.
All of their salads and sandwiches are from Majestic Caterers which is ORB certified and are packaged and labeled as such. Their pastries are from the same caterer, but are not packaged and labeled kosher.
All of their coffee products/syrups/bases are kosher and they will be glad to show anyone packaging.
And again, they are in the process of getting local certification.
Sounds like a great addition to the South Florida scene!
