Specific Miami Beach Suggestions

Traveling early September with two children but need to eat well - will not have car but obviously can find transportation - but really interested in places just north of South Beach, preferably in the 20's and 30's - ethnic would be great but really just good food.

Casual but really good near Mercer Street

Loooking for really good, but not big deal, place for early dinner near Mercer Streeet

Trestle - a very pleasant surprise

We second Lau's report - have gone to Trestle three times, the first two because the other places we were planning were booked up - each time, we were happy - a kind of low-key, ultimately satisfying, attentive although not terribly efficient service - a really good "neighborhood" type place that is also worth going out of the way for
