Clearwater / Tampa (Spring Training)
just ate at the Clearwater Cerviche last evening. was very good. $4 tapas Tuesdays a good bargain. for Italian I've heard good things about Al and Stella's at the beach. Never been there. Or Casanova on Cleveland. new. former owner of Bellini's in Dunedin of which I was a fan. I go to Casa Ludovico in Palm Harbor.

I also use the Kirkland brand from Costco for en every day EVOO. You can't beat the quality for the price. I also use a lot of EVOO and it can't be beat.

try Lucky Dill on Alternate 19 in palm harbor and there
is always too jay's at the mall. a chain restaurant but you can get the lox and whitefish salad.

There's also Cacciatore Brothers on Hillsborough Avenue and Hanley. It's not fancy but I like their cheese and meat counter. Tampa Road turns in to Hillsborough.

I like Christo's on little road and SR 54 in Trinity. reminds me of a greek diner. food has always been good, plentiful and reasonably priced.
NY Transplant in Tampa needs help
For new york 'type' pizza in the Palm Harbor area, try Gino's New York Pizza on Tampa Road or Vetture's Restaurant on East Lake Road.
both owners are from New York, I understand. They are two of the very few places I will eat Pizza since I moved from The Bronx to Florida.

I'm a big Ceviche fan been to the Tampa location, the St Pete location and the new location in Clearwater. The $4 tapas Tuesdays are a great deal. My boyfriend and I ate for $23.00.

I have heard that flamestone grill in oldsmar is doing takout on thanksgviving. have not tried it but liked the restaurant the twice I ate there.

mazzaro's has a small but excellent bakery. There's also an italian bakery all the way in Port Richey about 1/2 mile past the gulf view square mall. Any other?
Tampa Bay neighborhood Italian restaurants
try casa ludovico in palm harbor for a nice dinner. Early bird specials until 7 pm. I am from New york and love them. Also try Positano's in Palm Harbor. Casa Ludovico is better but I go to both regularly and love them.
