Restaurant Parsnip Desserts?
Last year I tried an amazing parsnip cake (think carrot cake, only better) in Portland. I'm wondering if any great restaurants in NYC have used parsnips in the dessert course. Let me know as I'm headed to town this fall and would love to try them if any exist.

More Restaurants with Chef's Menus - like Beast?
I'm curious if anyone knows of any other Portland restaurants serving solely a menu like that at Beast or Simpatica - one with no choices, substitutions allowed, etc. I'm wanting to dine at some places that require zero choices of me, and that let the chef be very creative.
Any recommendations?
