Columbia, SC BBQ
By the way, I have been to Columbia twice now since my original post and have visited: Doc's, Hudson's Smokehouse, and Little Pigs. While all three are excellent representatives of SC BBQ, Hudson's Smokehouse is above and beyond one of the best BBQ spots I've been to in a long while. The atmosphere is so completely awesome, which is really what puts it over the top. All 3 have awesome buffet-style selections with superior food, but the smoke flavor is so deep and rich on the Hudson's pork. I was tempted to order the brisket, and I will be heading back to SC for no other reason than to do so.
Thanks for all of your recommendations.
Saturday in St. Augustine -- 1 day only
Can you hook a kid up? I have one day in St. Augustine and would love a couple of killer places to eat. I'd like something unique and perhaps coastal. Something I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else.
Columbia, SC BBQ
I will be in Columbia later this month and would like a good BBQ place. (Not Maurice's). I want the SC-style BBQ with the mustard sauce. Buffets with sides would rock. I know that Little Pigs was great, but I don't know if it's still around. What's up?

Eating in or near Columbia, SC
I second Little Pigs as premier SC BBQ. The selection is awesome, but the hours are a bit erratic. Call ahead to make sure they are open.
Charlotte on Sunday/food neighborhood
We will be in Charlotte Sunday and are looking for a few places that we must visit. We tend to prefer "dining neighborhoods," where we can walk to and from a few different places and try out a bunch of stuff. Is there a place in Charlotte that fits that bill? I've read of Elizabeth Ave., is that what I'm looking for? Also, how is M5? Any help is appreciated.
Recommendations for Chapel Hill
How about for lunch? What's good for lunch in Chap. Hill?
Mebane Sports Bar
I heard there's a new sports bar in Mebane, NC where the former sous chef of Vin Rouge is cooking. Any word out there on this?
Rabbit in Durham, NC
Where can I find rabbit in Durham, NC? Not at Whole Foods, not at Kroger, etc. So where? I know I'm not the only one looking. The best option I've found is at the crossroads of Alabama and Indian Trail, but it still has the tire marks on it. (That's an LOL). The question is serious, though. I really am looking.
