Frozen Soup Dumplings?

Anyone know where (if) to get frozen soup dumplings? My sister loves them and I'd like to give her a big bag full. Anyone know where?

Best General Tso's Chicken in Manhattan or Brooklyn- HELP?

I agree. Most of the places in the WFC are crap, but the general tso's here is pretty tasty.

Carnegie Deli or Katz's?

Katz's without question. The pastrami is fattier and more delicious. The only reason to go to 2nd Ave deli is if you're stuck in midtown, want a nicer place to sit and eat or want some of the other deli items they don't have at Katz's.

I covered both in more detail on my sandwich blog, check them out:

Nougatine for B-Day Dinner?

Oops, that comment goes to all!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad I asked before being disappointed!

Are there any other places you'd recommend that are brilliant food without being stuffy?
Park Ave Summer/Spring? Nobu?

Nougatine for B-Day Dinner?

Thanks for the feedback. Are there any amazing food places you'd recommend without a stiff atmosphere (no jacket requirements, etc.)?

Special birthday dinner - suggestions, please!

Yasuda is amazing. Outside the fishmarket in tokyo, it's the best sushi I've had.

Top 10 Manhattan Sushi

Kanoyama is awful. I go back every few months after people put it on lists like these, but it is ALWAYS very very dissapointing and extremely overpriced. $15 for a single piece of not-good otoro? Please. The place is loud, crowded and don't sit by the door or you will be freezing the whole time.

Yasuda is king.

Where to eat/ shop and be a foodie around the UN

Go to sushi yasuda (3rd and 43rd) and daniels bagels (38th st and 3rd ave). Both are mind-blowing in their own way.

Sandwiches and Scotch

Anyone have a recommendation for a good place to get a sandwich and a scotch?

Most of the great sandwich-focused places don't serve scotch.

Any ideas?

2nd Avenue Deli Reopening

I went a few weeks ago and got a pastrami and tongue sandwich. Total bill for takeout? $38. There was a huge line around the corner of people waiting to sit. It was delicious and I'll be back, but not that quickly. I wrote a bit more about it on my blog, if you're interested.
