Message
We will be in Florence for just two nights, and have friends that recommended restaurants that they loved. Acqua al 2 (tel. 055-284-170) and Antico Ristorante Paoli (tel 055 216215, Via dei Tavolini 12/r. I have heard a lot about Aqua al 2 but haven't heard about Antico Ristorante Paoli much. I hope our experience will be as good as theirs.
Any comments?

mbfant,
I've looked over many of your reviews and I'm ready to take the plunge and stop obsessing over the restaurants we will dine in while in Rome.
It will be my husband, mother in law,my two girls(12 & 13 & quite adventurous eaters ) and me. We are only in Rome for three nights.
I thought we would try either La Piazzetta or Armando al Pantheon the first night (Monday), Trattoria Monti the next and Sora Margherita after our tour of the ghetto. For lunch I thought we would figure it out as we go along. Too many great places, so little time.
Thank you again!

RomeAddict,
You seem to be pretty knowledgable about the restaurant circut in Rome... did you enjoy Santo Padre? Ristorante Fiammetta, sounds like a must!
What do you know about restaurants in the Jewish Ghetto? Moderate.

marqiehubbard,
Thank you for your suggestions. I have heard good things from many about Armando Pantheon and Ditirambo. I will certainly look for your book suggestion,it sounds helpful. I have a huge list of restaurants from chowhound and from a few other sites and it is all becoming so confusing because they all sound so good.We only have a few nights and I want them to be memorable.
Thank you again.

Rome with teens/tweens

This is our very long list of restaurants in Rome.
I believe we are going to eat at Santo Padre the first night,Pierluigi the second and Da Giggetto the third. We have two girls,12 and 13 years old. For lunch we thought we would just wing it. I have combed a few blogs and come up with these restaurants. Our concierge actually suggested the first two that we will be trying while we are there. I hope this is helpful.
