This will be disgusting to most people, but its the truth. In Southwest Michigan (Harbor Country) There is a great restaurant called Heston's. I am going to skip the review of the restaurant, because its good, just try it. I find myself here with my boating friends after a trip over to New Buffalo from Chicago. So the owner of the boat throws a challenge to myself and a friend, Rim. He tells us to go for the 40 ounce Prim Rib. I think they called it the Heston Cut. Well, we went for it. Its not like most steaks where you are going to cut off a lot of fat or the bone is still attached. This hunk of meat is all steak. It was the size of a loaf of bread. I can tell you that this was the second best steak I have ever had in my life. The flavor was incredible. The meat melted in my mouth and the juice was perfect. If it wasn't as good as I am telling you, I would not have eaten the entire steak. But it was and yes I did. And so did Rim. His jaw muscles were starting to swell up and It was painful for him to finish it, but he did. I would definitely order the steak again and split it with another person because its was that good. The ability to finish the meal is why I will say that the entire meal was the best I've had at a restaurant. The absolute best meal I ever had was given to me by a friend that is an Attorney in NWI. He could close his practice today and open a restaurant in a camp ground and you would be told to go there by everyone who had a meal prepared by him. If he reads this, he will tell me that what he gave me wasn't his best and he could do better. Which I would really like to him to try.
