One night in Nice
We have one night in Nice. Looking for a very good restaurant for dinner or lunch. Dinner no higher than 50ers per person. Seafood would be great. Also any other foodie destinations in Nice. We will be there on a Wed/Thur.
Raw Oysters Happy Hour
Raw oysters are a buck a shuck at City Crab (19th and Park) from 4:00-7:00 week nights. Most appetizers, wine and some drinks are 1/2 price.

Koreatown restaurants needed
We will be staying at a hotel on W. 32nd St. I understand that there are some great Korean rest. in this area. Can you recommend any for lunch or dinner that are well priced?
Restaurants near Susan B. Roberts Theater (Broad and Lombard)
Yes, I thought about Girasole, but when I looked at the menu it seemed a little pricey and it did get terrible reviews when it opened. Also didn't look like a place where we could eat at 5:00 and be at the theater by 6:30. Anything else?
Restaurants near Susan B. Roberts Theater (Broad and Lombard)
Now that Du Jour has closed we need tasty, reasonable rest. near this theater. Have to eat at 5:00 since plays start at 6:30 now. Looking for soups, salads, and lighter meals.
What's new or good in the theater district
What do you recommend ordering at Toloache and how much for 2 people?
What's new or good in the theater district
Looking for good food in the $50-60 a person range in the theater district. Something on 8th ave would be great. Have tried Uncle Nick's, Marseilles, and Casa ???. Would like something new. Pre fixe would be great.
How is Pasha on the upper west side
Has anyone eaten at Pasha lately on west 71st street. How is it? What are the best things to order?
Dinner near Columbus Cirle
I* am taking my 20something son out for dinner around Columbus Circle. Like moderate price ($50 range per person). Open to anything including ethnic. We appreciate good food. Saw some postings for Pasha. Is it still good? Also would like recs for after dinner drinks in the same area, preferable close to 60th street. Thank you
lunch near Radio City Music Hall
My son gets his masters in mid may at Radio City Music Hall. Looking for a good place to take the family out to lunch that day that is walking distance to RCMH. Thinking of Tratoria tre Colori but might want something a little more unusual or upscale but not too upscale(approx. $35 a person) Any suggestions. Do not want Marseilles; like it but have been there several times.
Thank you.
Lyon for 3 nights-where to eat
I'm back from Lyon. Had a wonderful meal full of Lyonnaise specialties at La Garet. The staff makes you feel so at home too. Also enjoyed the restaurant La Vout-Chez Lea-a little more formal but also very warm. Lunch at Bistro de Lyon-would not go back-ok food but nothing to rave about. It's very pretty especially at night which is what lured us in.
After a performance at the opera house we just wanted something simple. Went to Entrecote for tasty steak and frites and salad with walnuts just down the street from the opera house. Always good, very reasonable (17 euros for the dinner) and hits the spot when you are fooded out with all the other rich food.
Robert et Louise
I just ate at Robert et Louise on Sunday night. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant with it's informal communal tables and wood burning fire where all the meats are cooked. It is also a great place for Sunday dinner after walking around the Marias. I do recommend early dinner at about 7:30 as the place gets mobbed by 8:30. Also recommend asking for a table on the first floor where you can see the food being cooked over the fire when you make your reservation. Now for the food-I thought it was very good of what it is--not gourmet French food. All the meats cooked over the fire have a delicious taste. The fresh sausage appetizer is delicious with the French bread and strong mustard. For mains, I ordered the rib steak. It was on the thin side and I did have to cut around some fat but still had good flavor. My husband (not in the mood for beef) opted for the tiger shrimp which were tasty. The dishes come with salad in a simple dijon dressing and roti potatoes which I thought were very good. (the party of 5 next to us asked for 2 extra plates of them.) If I had it to do over again and I will go again, the steaks for two which everyone seemed to be ordering are the way to go. The steaks were much thicker and able to be cooked rare and looked great. This is a fun restaurant with a limited menu but very good at what they do in a great atmosphere. Cost of dinner with 1app, 2 mains, 1dessert 1 glass wine, 1bt. sparking water and 2 cafe was about 65 euros. Service was great. We walked out very happy.
Unique and fabulous foods to take home
I feel that I must comment here. I have always brought in wonderful cheeses from France to the US with no problems. (packaged carefully) Last time there, I had all the soft cheese confiscated by the French authorities at the airport in Paris. I was only allowed to bring in the hard cheeses (comte, etc). I have always had concerns about getting them into the US on the US side but was surprised when I could not take them out of France. I brought them through in carry on and perhaps would not have had a problem if I had packed them in our checked luggage. I am shy to try it again? Anyone else have this experience? Any further suggestions on how to bring back cheese?
Help with short notice weekend added to Paris adventure
We have a reservation on Sunday 3/29 at Robert et Louise, close to the Marias. Supposed to have wonderful wood stove cooked steaks. Can find lots of info about this restaurant on chowhound.

Thank you. Where is La Voute (address and phone number) and how are the prices.
Lyon for 3 nights-where to eat
We will be in Lyon for 3 nights. Would like to try bistro type meals (bouchons) in the 35-50 euro bracket. What do you suggest? Will be staying near Place Bellecour but can travel to other neighborhoods. A friend recommended the following: Can anyone comment on these;
L'est
Daniel et de Nise
Le Garet
Also interested in other food related experiences while in Lyon. Thanks for your help.
Quiet, clubby drink
The bar at the Gramercy Park hotel is gorgeous with great modern art.. Pricey but worth it. Go when you have time to relax in the lobby in front of the roaring fire.

Need a restaurant in the area of west 46th street where we can make a 7:00 curtain. (dinner no later than 5:30) Like all cuisines and moderate prices (about $50 per person) How is Lattanzi? Do not want Becco-have been there too many times. Thanks for your help.
best restaurant for 2 nights in Athens and 1 in Istanbul
Please recommend a restaurant where 3 couples can have a fantastic meal in each of these 2 cities. Since we have little time we want to make it memorable. Looking for prices that are in keeping with a mid range New York restaurant. We will be coming off a cruise ship, so location must be easy enough to reach from there. Have heard that there are some in Istanbul with great rooftop views. Want Greek and Turkish food. Thanks.
Revel in the Meat Packing District
Has anyone been to the beautiful garden restaurant in the meat packing district called Revel? I have looked at it and want to know if the food measures up to the setting? Thanks
Dinner before Les Miz @ Walnut St?
Oceania is a very pricey, hight end seafood chain on the corner of 7th and Walnut. It is beatiful and the food is good but I would not pay the prices. Here's how to do it. They have been having a $30 pre theater dinner that is fantastic. When you call for a reservation, ask if it is still available and what the time restrictions are. When you get there it will not be on the menu but if you ask your waiter he will recite the choices on the prefix for you. The excellent fried calamari appetizer would have fed the whole table.
Eats near the Tower theater in Upper Darby
