Vienna - lunch and dinner ideas
You HAVE to go to Cafe Hawelka, very close to the Stephansdom cathedral. I'd been told that they don't serve food, but when I was there just a month ago they had a special of goulash and fresh peach cake. Both were outstanding. But it's sort of the standard of Viennese coffee houses, I'd go just for a cappucino (or four).
If they're not serving food when you go, there's a relatively inexpensive and pretty good Italian place just across the street.
