wow, most of the reviews were pretty bad. I wonder if it has gotten any better now that it has been a few months. What a shame - I know everyone was so looking forward to a new place!

Grady Davids

Has anyone been to Grady Davids in Honeybrook? I know they opened a few months ago, but I haven't heard if it is any good. I believe it is the same owners as Kildares and Doc Magrogans in West Chester, It is located at the old Waynesbrook Inn. Any reviews?

Cupcakes in Philadelphia: '08 Edition

I went to the Reading Terminal market this past weekend, mostly to try out Flying Monkey, and see what all the hype is about. They had maybe 3 choices of cupcakes - they did not look great. I opted for the double chocolate brownie - and thought it was kinda stale tasting. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. - Can't wait to try Naked Chocolate cafe!

Brunch in Chester or Lancaster County??

If you are looking for a buffet brunch, my vote would be for Riverstone. I think they have a much better selection than anyone in the area. Brickside Grille, Drafting Room and America Bar and Grill don't even come close! I love the atmosphere, and the food is very good.

HELP, I can't find decent pizza in Chester County!!!!

Has anyone been to New Haven Pizza lately? I haven't been there in .... wow... almost 10 years - but when I lived in the boro we did take out from there almost every week! Their pizza and sandwiches were always very good.
Does it still have the reputation as best of the borough of WC?

Food/gift basket ideas, etc...

incredible edible fruit is a good idea - a bit pricey, but the fruit is very good, and it is a gorgeous presentation. I also always like to fall back on Cheryl & Co to deliver yummy treats. They have nice baskets of individually wrapped slices of cakes and cookies, for any occassion.

anywhere to go for dessert in chester county?

Does anyone know of any dessert cafe's other than Sprazzo's in West Chester? My boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere to go tonight - not necessarily looking for a restaurant - just something fun to do and have a yummy dessert.
Any ideas?

Anything good in Valley Forge-King of Prussia???

Try Bahama Breeze - they do call ahead seating. I went a few Saturday nights, and it wasn't really that bad of a wait. The food is pretty good -- the seafood risotto was absolutely delicious - and they have wonderful frozen drinks!

Need help - restaurant near Franklin Inst.?

you're right daisygirl - let me clarify. There are 2 children, ages 3 and 6. We plan on spending the day visiting the please touch museum, and Franklin Institute. My original intention was to be able to make reservations somewhere casual and kid friendly for dinner, so the adults can talk, and the kids wouldn't be too crazy.
Thanks for all of your suggestions--- please keep them coming!!

Facility/Caterer Question - Grad Party planning

I know this is an old thread.... I am not sure of a place, but I would definately try Robert Ryan Catering. They are located in Phoenixville, and are wonderful. The owners daughter, Stephanie Ryan, is the nicest to work with.

Meatballs and Spaghetti

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Pica's on West Chester Pike heading towards Upper Darby. They have been around for years - and by far the best italian food around. Well worth the drive! We used to drive there just to get pizza!

HELP, I can't find decent pizza in Chester County!!!!

I feel your pain... I am originally from NY, and even after living in chester county 10 years, still have problems finding good pizza. Believe it or not, my favorite comes from the food court in the Exton Mall - it is delicious - like authentic NY pizza.

Need help - restaurant near Franklin Inst.?

I am having family in from NY to go to the Franklin Institute, and am looking for a kid friendly, not too pricey, peanut allergy free place to go to dinner. And, it will be during Passover, so italian is out. Can anyone suggest a place? I don't really know my way around Philly, and am having a difficult time finding a place that will suit our needs.
