Recommendations for large group in Monmouth County???

thank you for the recommendation!

Recommendations for large group in Monmouth County???

I am looking for recommendations for a fairly large (15-20 people) for dinner on a Saturday night in the southern part of Monmouth County.

While good, tasty, quality food is very important we also want to consider an atmosphere which is not too formal and where our large group would not cause a disturbance to other diners (although we are in our 30s and have good manners, we are gathering for a celebration).

The group is open to all kinds of cuisine- italian, mexican, fish, french, etc. so feel free to be open in your recommendations!

Private Party at the Jersey Shore

thanks for the suggestions. they are most appreciated. I hope you and your guests enjoy your parties!

Private Party at the Jersey Shore

I am planning a family party after labor day for about 35-50 people after Labor Day. I am looking for recommendations on restaurants that have a private room or space to accomodate that number in the Spring Lake, Manasquan, Belmar area OR the Red Bank area. I would like to have either a brunch or a luncheon. We are a fairly low key bunch as so casual dinning is okay as long as the food is tasty, the ambience welcoming, the service good and the cost reasonable. Its a tall order so I welcome any suggestions or recommendations!

looking for the most delectable rack of lamb in south brooklyn

Birthday dinner with friends coming up and I am jonesing for a rack of lamb. Have enjoyed this dish at quercy and blue ribbon in the past. Any suggestions for this year? also looking for a fun atmosphere and good but reasonable wine list.

Thanks in advance.

Quiet quality restaurants in Park Slope?

I went to Black Pearl on Union between 6th and 7th aves a couple weeks ago and for better or worse it was really, really quiet there. And it was a Saturday night (in August granted).

We had two appetizers, four entrees and two desserts and all of the food was good. Short of spectacular or memorable but good. Good service and interesting dining room.

Best Burger in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens

I second the Bar Tabac nomination.

Cafe Nova and the French Deli

thanks!

Cafe Nova and the French Deli

I understand that Cafe Nova and the Deli (french, Red, Christof's, etc. I know it by many names) on Clinton and Verendah have both sadly closed. Now that my mourning period is almost over, I am wondering if any one can suggest any comparable shops, cafes, etc. I loved getting fresh meat sandwiches, salads and great take out stuff. I also loved their catering menu.

Any suggestions for alternatives?

7th to Prospect to Prospect Ave West Pizza+?

I agree with the Anthony's recommendation. I really like their meatballs.

Regarding the space on PPW, I noticed last night that a sign has gone up but it hasn't opened yet. Looking forward to having another option in the neighborhood.

anyone rented the "Stable" at Frankies on Court?

I was a guest at a party there back when it first opened (a little more than 2 years ago I think). From what I remember the prices were really reasonable BUT I think they may have increased since then. We were served family style and there was a ton of food.

The space itself is really wonderful and the service was great.

Chow-worthy restaurants in Nags Head, NC?

Awful Arthur's in Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills is a little bit morth of Nags Head but a fun dining experience.

Park Slope Delivery Favorites

I like Anthony's on Seventh Ave and 14th (or 15th?) for solid, basic italian.

Suggestions for a large group please!

I am looking for suggestions for a group of about 12 for this Saturday night in Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Hts, Ft. Green, Park Slope or nearby). As it is a group of people who don't see each other very often, we would want a place where they would not mind us visiting over a few bottles of wine. Of course, great food would also be important but we are not limited to any specific kind of cuisine.

All suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance.

Treatment at River Cafe

I have always been treated well there. There have been times when I have been turned away because they were simply too busy/crowded and completely welcomed other times. I think it all depends on your timing. Try a weeknight if possible.
