Actually they told me they get their fresh fish from Bell's in Mackinaw as well

Have you tried Scalawags Whitefish & Chips? I go to the one in Rochester Hills and they serve fresh great lakes whitefish & chips -- their fish is shipped fresh from Bells fishery in Mackinaw and it is delicious.... they have lots of other offerings too... perch, walleye,etc. but their whitefish is the best.
