Sunday night pre-fixe
We live in Miracle Mile area and are entertaining 4 friends from France. We are looking for a reasonable Sunday eve pre fixe, or reasonable regular menu. We have been to Lucques and loved it but looking for something else. We will Be 7 or 8 people for dinner. We are considering Animal, but don't know if it is open on Sunday. We thought Comme Ca, but maybe to cliche'. I know its short notice, but if anyone would know you hounds would.
Menu for Animal
Can anyone tell me where I can find the menu for animal? Also is ti open on Sunday eve?

ISO inexpensive tuesday evening pre fixe menu around mid city/west hollywood/grove area
We are looking for a good tuesday night pre fixe in the mid wilshire, grove, west hollywood area. Needs to be inexpensive as it is for french friends of ours who work for air france on their layover for a couple nights in LA. They have been here many times and we have taken them to quite a few places that are more pricey. So we are looking for less expensive pre-fixe for tonight. We live in Wilshire/La Brea area. Close would be good but definitely not a deal breaker. Thanks in advance.
Ammo: WORST TURKEY BURGER EVER
Ya, they used to be a gem before the expansion. The food was great and the prices were right. It's just not the same anymore......

The Press is fairly cheap and you can get a consistently good meal.
The Back Abbey is great for pub food and fabulous Belgium beers, great burgers and twice fried pomme frites in duck-fat (yummm).
Casa 425 Has a great bar menu and the patio lounge is a great place to have food and a good drink.
Kazama sushi suck, and so does Kinya sushi.
Walters is good for breakfast.
Casablanca is auk, but their other restaurant is better in pomona.
The forks is good but you will drop some serious cash, however they do have a small bar menu.
Bua thai is auk. A little hit and miss. There is better thai in the area. Mix Bowl is a dive but they have good Thai food. It's south of the 10 frwy on Indian Hill...and they deliver!!!!!
Pho Vi in Downtown arts district in Pomona is good for Pho.
If you want sushi
Sakura Ichi in the same downtown arts district is better than any sushi in claremont.
Viva Madrid in the village is pretty good for tapas, at least for out in claremont.
Some crust in the village is good for coffee and pastry.
Kikiriki is great for peruvian rotisserie chicken and take out Peruvian food. It's very inexpensive and very tasty.
Hope this helps..
