An Otto Disappointment

I thought the food was mediocre. My biggest problem was the noise-level, unbelievable. I will never go back.

I am in complete agreement with your choice of Saravanaas. It is the most authentic S. Indian food I have had in Manhattan.

Acacia -- TUCSON -- Report

Unfortunately, the food is not deserving of the praise. We recently dined at Acacia and found the food to be mediocre at best--for its price points in Tucson. I am a little suspicious of the original reviewer, due to the length and detail of review--perhaps it is the chef or owner? Nothing special.

Suggestions in Tucson?

I do not recommend Cafe Terracotta. Within the last five years the quality of the food has declined significantly. Unfortunately, good food is difficult to find in Tucson unless you are eating Mexican. Try Mi Nidito or Cafe Poca Cosa, you will not be disappointed.

Dependable Mexican eats (I think) in Tucson

Mi nidito is by far the most authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food in Tucson--this accounts for the 1-2 hr. wait after 6 P.M. I have been a patron of the restaurant for over 20 years, and in that time the food have retained its quality and authenticity. Lastly, don't forget to try the chile relleno, amazing.

Curry Leaf or Madras Mahal

Absolutely terrible. The food at Curry Leaf has seriously declined in the last year. A lamb dish was ordered, the meat was so tough it was barely edible. The rest of the meal was mediocre at best.

The service is the poorest of any of the Indian restaurants in the area. The wait staff are quite brusk and inattentive.

Never again.
