That's disappointing to hear. The last time we were there the service was so-so, but not bad enough to make us not go back. Did you mention this to the manager?

If you put Kinnaree on your list, stick to the Thai options. Their French items are less than stellar.
Bocelli in Gyw Valley?
We used to like Bocelli. The last time we went the food was mediocre and the service was abysmal.
Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights
I was unable to check back in as my phone met an untimely demise. We had a very nice dinner at Market 17 with fabulous service and a mediocre dinner at Blue Moon with a knucklehead for a server. We have been there before and it is a has been as far as we are concerned.
We went to Rocco's Tacos for lunch and we enjoyed it. We had the table side guac and it was delicious!
Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights
It's been about 2 years since our last visit. Is there anythong new and noteworky we can't miss while we are in town? We need 2 dinners and 3 lunches. Thanks as always for your input.

My vote goes to Le Virtu. Excellent food! I went for the first time last year based on barryg's recommendation. It exceeded my expectations.

CHEAP EATS IN HORSHAM/WILLOW GROVE
Thank you for the Elevation Burger suggestion! We stopped there for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed both the burger and their fries.

I never liked the Doylestown Alessio. It is a shame about Alessio in Warrington!

We are not chain restaurant people. But, yesterday when my husband came home he said he was hungry and I was not in a cooking frame of mind. I suggested we give Mad Mex in Willow Grove a try after reading the review in a local publication. We were seated right away, but then waited 10 minutes before our server came to the table. We ordered the fire-roasted tomato chipotle salsa and the guacamole with chips. The chips were incredibly salty as was the salsa. I ordered the Patron margarita. It was average. At the same time, we ordered the grilled fish tacos and the carnets burrito.
An hour after ordering, our food had not arrived. We watched customers who were seated after us receive their meals and stopped the hostess and asked her to get the manager. Our server was no where around. The manager comes over, looking quite shabby sand wearing a stocking cap. I had to double check with him to be sure he was actually the manager. He offered no apology for the poor service and missing entrees. He just said he would "pick up our tab". So, we got up and left. It was a terrible experience.
This morning I went on their site to leave feedback and came across the nutritional information. That was eye opening!
Humiliating experience at Dettera
Wow AG! That was totally uncalled for. I have never felt completely comfortable with the staff at Dettera. We have not been back for a very long time because of the way we have been treated. After all, it is just a restaurant in Ambler. If they don't want to treat the locals respectfully, who do they think will support their restaurant?
Kinnaree in Horsham, PA
We had a delightful dinner last night! We both ordered the Tom Yum soup. As SJE stated, perfectly spiced and and probably one of the best I have had. I ordered the special stir-fried shrimp and vegetables in the thai tamarind sauce and my husband ordered the shrimp pad thai. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. We plan to go back very soon and try many of the other options. It's great to have this wonderful rest so close.
