Philly hounds: Django, Mercato, A. Claire or Matyson?
Matyson, Matyson, Matyson! I have not had a bad meal there. They also have ther Prixe Fix menu for $45 Mon- Thurs which you will need to be rolled out of the restaurant when done. We went to Django last year after hearing great things and I was not impressed.
Cosimo Wine Bar and Restaurant?
We went when they first opened with a group of people. We started @ the var with wine flights and apps, looked @ the menu and decided it was a liitle over priced. We had a great experience with the somelier he was extremely helpful and patient with our group. I would recommend it for a nice apps meal and time with friends. Try it!
Relatively new to West Norriton Area
Little Shanghai is the best chinese in the area, friendly service and consistent food. Also Try Conshy, there are a ton of good restaurants - Fayette Street Grill is great. They have a 3 course fix prix for I think it's $29/pp, but you walk out stuffed.
BYOB in Montco
It's in Phoenixville, but not far - Twin Bay Cafe It has great food, a little more exotic. They have a different game meat whether it's wild boar or ostrich. Everything is good.
Looking for cupcakes like Sprinkles in LA
I have never had Sprinkles, but The Night Kitchen in Chestnut Hill has great cupcakes and the best butter cream icing. It is also the perfect amount of icing.
Where to find Clotted Cream in Philly/suburbs(KOP)?
If you are not afraid to ask, I have had tea @ Taste of Britain in Devon just off Lancaster Ave and I believe she sells it in her retail section. If she doesn't sell it in the retail part she will probably be more than happy to sell you some from the kitchen. She is really great. It's an awesome place for tea, too.
