Looking for a fun, delish dinner near the subway, not too fancy/pricey. All I can think of is Caren's or sushi...suggestions? |

Dinner Downtown, near Sony Centre (formerly Hummngbird) , open Sunday night im going to a show Sunday night, at the Sony Centre. I dont want to park twice - what is close walking distance to the Sony Centre? I know there is Biff's and the newish Oliver Bonacinni Cafe (where Shopsy's used to be). Im also thinking about Terroni on Adelaide (but it's a bit far' especially if it's raining) or Mercatto on Toronto Street (also a little far?). What am i forgetting? Please dont suggest Marche. I would rather eat a street dog. Also a consideration is that we are going on a Sunday night. ----- |

Yes. They charge me for it but it's worth it. |

The old Terroni at Balmoral used to do a delicious pasta bolognese. I'm not sure if it's on the menu at the new location but I'm sure they still have it at the Adelaide location. I always ask for extra sauce! |

Muskoka, Honey Harbour, Bala, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Midland Areas...need help! Gravenhurst - North (expensive) |

went today and got some great, large, well cleaned, shrimp. Anyone else had good experiences here? monkfish looked good and the wild salmon was beautiful. |

IQ is very good but even more expensive then the other "good" overpriced options. I like their sweet potato and lentil wrap. They are not open for breakfast yet. |

i haven't been to Note Bene in about a year! what is on the menu these days that is not to be missed? I recall being disappointed with the soup last time I was there. |

we will be visiting Chicago with our 3 year old and are staying at the Sofitel. I am looking for recommendations that are "cheap and cheerful", family-friendly and/or have a simple kids menu (grilled cheese). Sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. Any suggestions near the Sofitel (including a casual breakfast spot) and near major attractions (the Pier, Millenium Park, the Zoo, etc) would be appreciated. My husband and I were there without our daughter last summer and ate our way through your amazing city but this time will be different. Help please! |

chilled soups in TO- summer 2011 Had a decent gazspacho at South of Temprance but I was very hungry at the time and might not have been as objective as usual. Love me a spicy summer gazspacho! |

Freshii is VERY stingy their quality (rock hard avocado) and portion sizes went down and prices went up. Not cool. I prefer the Sandwich Box or Fast Fresh Foods in Commerce Court West. ----- Sandwich Box |

Has anyone used Mamaluv meal delivery? You can also buy pre-made frozen dinners at Supperworks. Great gift for new parents. ----- |

where can I get them sharpened? Ive had mine for about 2 years. |

Okko fine foods - where Autogrill used to be on Eglinton Tony's chicken fingers are good but I haven't been impressed with anything else there. I don't know anything about the people behind Okko but ad hoping for great things. |

I really dislike the taste of the cupcakes at The Cupcake Shoppe. The cake is dry and I prefer a traditional icing to their whipped buttercream, which I find tasteless. I recently discovered Short and Sweet, on Old Orchard (just east off Avenue Rd, north of Lawrence). I had the red velvet and chocolate/chocolate cupcakes and they were delicious. I also really like Flour, on Eglinton just west of Bathurst. ----- |

Okko fine foods - where Autogrill used to be on Eglinton Anyone know anything about this new butcher/deli/prepared food shop? They have an "opening soon" sign up. Looks like it might be similar to Tony's, which is on the north side of Eglinton, about a block east. |

I'm looking for a great lunch spot downtown. I'm coming from Wellington and York and my friend is at King and Jarvis. Any suggestions in the middle? I'd love something like Gilead Cafe, but more centrally located. |

Yay!! New Chinese restaurant opening up where Ho-Lee-Chow used to be on Yonge St N of Lawrence Is the new Chinese restaurant open? Is it any good? Or is it more of the same slop that Ho-Lee-Chow used to serve? Where can one get good Chinese food in midtown Toronto? |

Yonge & Lawrence - Italian Take-out You are right...but it is a "must" when ordering for a family with little kids if you want some variety! We ordered 3 chicken parms, 3 simple pastas and 2 large pizzas for 6 adults and 3 kids and everybody got a good mix of delicious food on their plate. |
|

Yonge & Lawrence - Italian Take-out I ended up ordering from Al Fornaro on Avenue Road. They have an online menu and ordering system. The food was great, reasonably priced and came on time. Thanks for the suggestions. |

Cadbury Easter Creme Eggs -- delisted at Shoppers? I notices this too! CCE's are my annual guilty pleasure and this year they seemed noticeably smaller. |
|

Yonge & Lawrence - Italian Take-out I'm looking for kid friendly food, pizzas, pasta, chicken parmigiana etc. Does Gamberoni do take-out? I cant seem to find their menu on-line. Any other suggestions? |

ISO A Thomas the Tank Engine Cake Cakes By Robert (www.cakesbyrobert.com). The cakes are nut free, delicious and they make the cake with any character, shape or design you could imagine. The only problem is that they are located at Yonge and Steeles, on Doncaster. |

I second the vote for Craft Burger. Had it for the first time today with my burger-loving SO and he loved it too. We both had the regular burger, nothing fancy and it was great. |
|
|
I recently tried Lolicakes on Mt Pleasant - delicious! There is also a great cupcake shop on St Clair, west of Bathurst but I forget the name. |
|
|
Green Eggplant (Eglinton & Avenue Rd) Nothing is great, most menu items are decent. Service is horrible, portions are huge. |
|
|
What to eat at The Keg? . . . I've had no luck in the past... I agree. Cant go wrong with fajittas or mini burgers. Steaks are never any good, same with most items on the lunch menu, salads and sandwiches are disappointing. |
|
|
I can't believe no one has any info! Are they just relocating maybe? |
|
|
Is it true? Where else can I get pad thai that isnt soupy and doesn't reek of ketchup? |

Best pizza that delivers (to Yonge & Eglinton)? La Luccioloa on Eglinton, West of Bathurst is a favourite of ours. |
