Trader Joe's Kosher:
Yes, the crescent rolls are excellent! I find that the Pillsbury brand has a synthetic tart (butter-like?) taste to them that I despise, but the Immaculate brand is very good and worth the extra expense!
Great Blueberry Pie in an unexpected place...(Southwestern Utah)
Yes, just had the Bumbleberry Pie a couple of weeks ago. It was ok, although I'm pretty sure it was just blackberry!

Late-nite bakeries in DFW?
I was out to dinner last night with my husband and we were searching for a bakery that was open late so we could stop for dessert, but couldn't find one. Does anyone know of any bakeries that are open late? Or maybe just a good dessert place? I live in north Garland, but I'm really just curious to know if there are any in the general Dallas area.
Com Tay Cam in DFW
When I lived in St. Louis, one of my favorite restaurants was a Vietnamese place called Lemongrass. They had the best dish - rice in a hot pot (com tay cam). The rice at the bottom of the pot became chewy and delicious! I've been trying to find a place that serves this dish in Dallas, preferably in the Garland/Richardson area, but I'm having trouble finding menus online. Can anyone suggest a place?
Glasgow recommendations
My husband and I will be in Glasgow the first week in July. We're staying near the University, won't have our own car, but we're planning on using public transportation or taxis when needed (i.e. we're not limited to locations within walking distance). Does anyone have any suggestions on where to eat? I don't have any particular preferences for type of cuisine - I just want to eat at good places that aren't too expensive ($20-$25 (USD) per entree would be at the top of our budget). I've never been to the UK before, so local fare would be welcome as well.
Paczki in Dallas?
Does anyone know where I can find good paczki in the Dallas area? (It's a Polish doughnut; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paczki for more info) Fat Tuesday is coming up and a fresh paczki sounds really good!
