Charlie Palmer Steak "Cut of the Week"
Was in Vegas last week and tried the 'Cut of the Week" at Charlie Palmer Steak. I highly recommed this to everyone. The food was delicious, the atmosphere exceptional and the staff friendly and accomodating. The portions are very generous, last weeks main course was a 8 oz filet and giant prawn. Also the addition of the bottomless wine pairing with the 1st and 2nd course is a nice touch. One of the best values on the strip....don't miss it!

Restaurant Week, 08/30/10 - 09/05/10
Wow...your review of Charlie Palmer Steak made me want to eat there immediately, unfortunately I don't arrive in Vegas until the 5th and CPS is closed on Sunday and Monday. Any other recommendations? I have eaten at many restaurants in Vegas and for most the $50.10 price doesn't really offer a great meal. I loved how CPS had the wine pairing for an additional $10.10. The reservationist tried to steer me towards Aureole but I'm not crazy about their RW menu. Any tips from fellow diners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Feedback on this foodie itinerary! 6 nights to enjoy....
How about Hash House a Go Go for breakfast. The original Vegas location is off the strip, but they recently opened in Imperial Palace. I was there in June and the food is just as amazing...check out their website for menu. Their biscuits served with honey and soft butter are to die for.
For dinner, you might want to check out Cafe Martorano at the Rio. The food is true authentic Italian. I do feel the ambiance has lost some of it's luster since Steve (the owner) is not in Vegas much anymore, but the quality of the meal has not slipped. I recommend the meatball...tastes just like my grandmother's.

Friday night dinner in Boston...where to go?
Hi! I will be in Boston Friday night staying at the Sheraton at the Prudential Center and looking for a trendy, hip spot to eat at that also has excellent food. Would like to go somewhere that has a bar scene if possible. Suggestions please...thanks so much!
Good italian restaurant in las vegas?
You must try Cafe Martorano in the Rio. Hands down the best authentic Italian I have eaten in Vegas. Tastes better than my grandmothers cooking which I didn't think was possible. There are a few things that I don't like about the place (they don't serve tapwater, bottled only) but the quality and taste far out weighs any negatives.
Boys' Night Steakhouse in Vegas - advice?
Would highly recommend Strip House at Planet Hollywood. It just opened and I was there last week. Great atmosphere and decor. Service was impecccable and the food was excellent. Definitely worth trying.
Any food/convenience/liquor stores very near the Bellagio?
The closest for liquor, snacks & soda would probably be the ABC Store which is inside the Aladdin (Planet Hollywood) dessert passage shops. Hope this helps
LV: Has anyone been to Rao's?
I was lucky enough to be there on the first night they opened (December 6th). I have never been able to get into the one in NYC...so I was dying to get to the one in Vegas. I met the owners 2 days before they opened when I walked in to look at the decor (they were putting the finishing touches on the restaurant). They were very cordial and especially friendly when I told them I had to come all the way from CT to Vegas to eat at Rao's since I could never dine in their NY location. They laughed and brought me right over to the host to give me a reservation for the night they opened. I felt like royalty! On the night they opened we were greeted by the owners with a kiss on the cheek and a prime seat in one of the New York replica dining rooms. The service was impeccable right down to being offered black linen napkins so we would not get lint on our clothes! The food was great and the whole evening was one of our most memorable in Vegas! Highly recommend it ! You won't be sorry!
Best Restaurants in Park City, UT
Was in Park City last February and had an excellent dinner at the Blind Dog Grill. Some of the best sushi I ever ate...we had a party of 20 people and everyone loved it. If you do go, I recommend sitting on the "sushi" side of the restaurant. You can order off both menus, if you sit on the other side you cannot order off the sushi menu. I have included the link. Check it out if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Top Chef Dinner at Tribeca Grill
I was at this dinner as well and echo the sentiments of the 1st poster....it was a great evening and what a bargain! The all inclusive cost was $95.00, unbelievable for what was offered. All the chefs from the show were very friendly, I had lengthy discussions with both Miguel and Stephen. Loved the wine pairings...the Mission Hill icewine was superb...my absolute favorite of the evening. I found out about this event by accident...I was browsing the Myriad group web page and saw a blurb about the dinner at Tribeca, I called and made reservations...very simple, I wish everything was that easy!
