My current drink of choice:
gin and tonic is my standard - and I've been especially enjoying artisanal tonic syrups lately!
I really wish I could:
quit my job and cook and garden all the time.

grilled flank steaks with blue cheese butter and an arugula salad with lots of good tomatoes
My favorite comfort food:
mac and cheese from the moosewood low fat faves book - of course with double the old cheddar the recipe actually calls for and a crushed cornflake and butter topping......Snarf!
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Lahore Tikka, Pizza e Pazzi, Canteen or LUMA when paired with a movie, The Stockyards, junk food style sushi (dragon rolls and weird rolls with cream cheese etc - yes I know not real sushi but it's a guilty pleasure)
My most tattered cookbooks:
Ottolenghi's Plenty and now Jerusalem, various Fine Cooking and Saveur magazines
