Best Butcher in NYC?

Two that I swear by: Esposito Pork shop on 38th and 9th Avenue and Jeffery's in the Essex Market. Both do special orders, have wild game, know special cuts and Jeffery's also offers aged prime. Lobel's is legendary... but so are their prices. For ethnic specific butchers, there are still a few... Try the one on Sullivan Street in SOHO or the guys on Bleeker in the Village

Need Me Some Chicken Fried Steak. Where is it?

Try the Roadhouse on Murry Street in Tribeca South. There's also the Cowgirl Hall of Fame on Hudson in the West Village otherwise, head to Dallas and the Gennie Bishop Grill. Or maybe Nelson's in Tulsa.

Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Fried Capers

Can this be prepared a day in advance or does it need to be served immediately?

Looks great.

Driving from Charleston to Richmond, any suggestions for lunch on the way?

In Richmond, Julips and Minnie's Dinner were suggested for dinner. Both look pretty good. Open to other's ideas...
